Of course using domestic reserves, and nuclear should be allowed and carried out.
But Obama probably wants to keep funding the Saud family and their clique of whahabis; a very Bushist position I might add...

Obama supports nuclear. He agrees with Bush's energy experts that offshore drilling will have INSIGNIFICANT impact on the price of gas for the next 20 years. That is a fact.
Americans DON'T respond favorably to gimmicks. McCain is losing big time. Obama is going to invest billions in renewable energy to stop depending on the Saudis, while McCain wants to spend $340 million A DAY in Iraq for the next 100 years.
