There are also scale testing procedures that are recommended and are referenced in the Magellan 8500XT Product Reference Guide (PRG). Weight sets can be purchased through several companies, ours came from Rice Lake Weighing Systems. Weight sets must be certified and may need to be checked or certified by State or County local government agencies.
