  • La música es de Atahalpa Yupanqui...

  • Tazio, Clark and Senna

  • In the pic at 2.21 he seems he's going to chill up the hell with a bucket of water. He's a hero. No one like him could ever do the things he's done. I mean, others are great drivers, but... he's kind like Jimi Hendrix... you know what i mean?

  • How about Taruffi? I know little about him other than the name. and the fact he was Jackie Stewart's hero when he was a young boy. I'd like to know a bit more

  • @JakobusVdL Stewart's hero was Fangio .Jackie and Sterling Moss were 2 of the 6 that carried Fangio's coffin while Fangio's only son was not allowed come close to his father's funeral because he was illegitimate and not recogniseds as a son by the Fangios

  • @tazio2 Cheers Tazio. I guess that Jackie may have had a number of hero's, at different stages of his life. Quite an honour to be a pall bearer at Fangios funeral. Both of them are heros to me.

Check out Jackie Stewarts book (winnings not everything) he mentions in there his nickname as a kid was Taruffi - because he was Jackie's hero. Do you have any information about Taruffi?

  • I love your passion for the Nuvolari legacy. I will be making a presentation at the research center in Watkins Glen {IMRRC} and would like you permission to use your source material. Thanks, JOe

  • G. Villennue's (misspelled) personality reminds me of Nuvolari.

  • but u wern't alive in 1936 so he cant

  • Yes, undoubtedly the best Prix and early Post war drivers! Brilliant~ one of the greatest, I am also convinced that Jim Clark is right there with him!

  • To Flashback007: Who is David Seaman? You anounced in your description, doing a tribute to this driver?

The only famous pre WW2 driver, i know is Ritchard "Dick" Seaman...!

  • Yeah, I know I made a mistake there, but I did actually make the movie, I just forgot to correct it here. :)

  • Bernd Rosemeyer was also a great driver, and the best friend of Nuvolari, whom he asked to be godfather of his child.

  • Outstanding choice of music. Thanks!

  • and he is italian.....italy in the heart...

''Correrai Ancor Piu' Veloce per le Vie del Cielo''

  • Tazio Nuvolari was the first modern driver. He changed the system to drive, both in car and bike!

  • one of the best drivers in that time of grand prix racing

  • Nuvolari,Fangio,Senna.

  • You forgot Clark leading them by about 40 seconds.

  • I am glad to find this posting. He was great driver, his courage is legendary and there are stories of this all over the internet. I like to listen to the Trio Lescano's "Arriva Tazio" which is on youtube, and also has some goos pictures.

  • The Flying Mantuan and Jimmy Clark were the 2 best racing drivers who ever lived or ever will live

  • amen!

    agree completely

  • @tazio2 who is the flying mantuan?

  • Great video and fantastic pics. What is the name of the song?

  • grande pilota la migliore sarà sempre ricordato great pilot the best will always be remembered

  • beautiful, there's an italian song, titled "nuvolari" by lucio dalla, it's a good one and if you look for it on the tube you could find also some camera recordings of tazio nuvolari. Anyway, the backing guitar song of this video is quite cool too, can you tell me the name of the song/artist please?

  • gustavo santaolalla is the artist, actually I don't remember the title
