I didn't HATE the second season of The Best Years, just because it was The Best Years.

BUT, First Season was AMAZING. I hope it gets picked up for a third season. With Trent, and Dawn.

Even though Niall Matter is busy working on Eureka, he gets a few months off, he could work on The Best Years XP

Since they never really closed the Trent issue, and Rich left to Australia (thank god...) I'm hoping some of the original cast members come back.

No, Trent isn't in the second season. And not many people (me included) are happy about it. On Niall Matter's website everyone is upset about them cutting him out.

unfortunately, I don't remember where I read that. But I know it was a reliable source or I wouldn't have posted it. All I really know besides that is that most of the original cast is in it again, but not all of them. =(

Actually, Trent isn't going to be in the second season what-so-ever. There's going to be a different main love interest for Sam. =(
