It was the Metoer The Gloster Meteor was the first jet powered fighter aircraft to enter service with the RAF but kept them back to defend home airspace & from July 1944 the first Meteor Squadron flew sorties against the V1's and other intercept missions. Jerry was still night intruding across the channel quite late in the war. With hindsight they should've sent them out they would have given the 262 quite a run but I suspect range would have been an issue.

No fue por el espesor del blindaje, lo que sucedía es que el rifle estaba compuesto por tantas piezas que su manufactura era complicada , en combate se atascaba con mucha, muchísima facilidad, por lo que se llegó a la cancelación de la producción.
