  • I love how every time Kathryn wins, and they cut to James Cameron. I get a tiny bit of satisfaction watching the smirk wiped off his face.

  • James Cameron's wife says "She's going all the way" at 0:16.

  • she would get fucked

  • wow. is it just me or did she recycle her oscar speech with less enthusiasm?

  • baftas came before the oscar.

  • @ChiknThighTatorPie still recycled

  • poor James Cameron...

  • now she dont looks 58 she looks 28

  • @littlecuty150

    Lol lindsay lohan looks 68

  • background song?

  • what i do not like is that when they said her name you could hear more music than applauding from the audience???

  • I prefer James Cameron, but i can't say nothing about The Hurt Locker because I never saw that.... But i Saw Avatar, that was GREAT, Why The Hurt Locker and Kathryn Bigelow won the 6 oscar? Was so for the screenplay? The directing? What?

  • @RMSTitanic4ever Are you retarded?

  • @AcademyAwardsPerson yes, like you

  • good on her! hardly anyone in the comments is saying how much she deserved this award. they're just saying how hot she looks for a 58 yr old, haha

  • @ReklawRemix I'll say BOTH.

She totally deserved the award (Hurt Locker is brilliant work)

And, yes, she's really really pretty.

  • :( where the fuck is moon o.o

  • she must be an alien to be 58, I hope my misses is that hot at 58, She's great.

  • So deserving.

  • a great moment in the BAFTA...I think that Kathryn Bigelow has a great future like director....is a historic cinema´s woman

  • Personally i don't think that Avatar should've had the hype it had because it wasn't that great to be honest. I can fully appreciate the special effects, they were amazing; but i wouldn't say it was that great. Wheras the hurt locker was just amazing and i highly recommend it and she soo deserved this award instead of James Cameron!

  • Shes 58! Wow she likes like shes lucky to be 40 lol

  • Kathryn Bigelow !

The Taliban was friend of America.

    What happened !?

Where is the RAMBO 3 MOVIE ?

  • to keep a 35-40 yr old appearance at 58 is impressive. I wish I'd look that young when i'm 58 xD Just watched the movie last night, it was pretty good.

  • beauty, talent, and humble personality...5*!

  • also at the age of 58 she looks gorgeous....

  • she's so talented. deserved all the awards & praises

  • is she related to Deuce Bigelow?

  • Comment removed

  • don't care how old she is..she is hot.

  • @illinifan512 With respect, I'm astonished that people are actually thumbing up your comment as if it's decent. Put your penis away you freak and stop thinking with your balls. Kathryn is awesome because of her directing not just her looks. Give her some respect.

  • @SonicCrakpot I didn't use profanity and I didn't make lewd comments about her body. all I said was she's hot. You seriously need to chill.

  • @illinifan512 You need to start praising Bigelow for her directing. Both of the highest rated comments are to do with her looks. Just seems daft. The first women director for years to win the oscar and people say, "She looks hot". Who gives a shit?

  • Shame the Oscars 2010 could not be so neutral as the Baftas.

  • she is so sexy..mmmm

  • Is it just me or did it sound like Clive Owen pronounced it "The Home Logger?"

  • Kathryn Bigelow is so pretty. She is also sexy. Sheesh! What a woman!!!

  • 0:15 shit

  • No way is she 58 - she barely looks 28!!!

Forget the age - this is one seriously hot girl - and she'll still be hugely shaggable in 15 years time. She looks as hot as Jemima Goldsmith and Rachel Aniston!!!!

  • Even after checking and confirming, I still DO NOT believe she's 58.

No amount of Botox, plastic surgery, and makeup can make her look that good.

And I just found out she directed Point Break! Guilty pleasure.

  • At the end of his life, the deadliest gunfighter of the Old West is given a choice: Hell or redemption. He chooses redemption and God's Archangel transports him to modern day Los Angeles to serve bloody, frontier justice on the worst dregs of society.

  • A powerful film. I'm glad she won, and I hope she wins the Oscar too.

  • Go Kathryn Go! The Oscar must be yours!

  • Not everyone hates americans , i love america .. go anywere around the world and there are anti american people its not your fault its just ignorant people out there,

same with some people hate british/

  • @chanceie12 -Some Americans find it hard to tell the difference between people being critical of their Government apart from the ordinary american people.

It is their Administrations (Bush and Obama) which on the whole receive criticism not America itself.

  • Some British people hate Americans which i do not understand becasue most American respect Brits.

  • @AnnaSargsyan

that's what i was thinking too...that's the reason the actor/actress awards goes to the brits

  • @salgadosroman -so unless the US gets all the awards the UK is not respecting the Americans! -American productions got the big movie awards such as Best Picture -we will see how neutral the Oscars is -but then again will there be any surprises? -probably not.

  • @MisSeductive your comments are verging on racist and are offensive

  • Agree 100% Mylife.

  • She definitely deserved this one.

  • Ah, poor Neill Blomkamp. His time will come soon enough.

  • James's ex-wife

  • Film of the Year!!! An award went to the right film for a change.

  • Very articulate lady -and stunning in that dress! -wonder how much that cost.

She seems a very down to earth and for an American speaks good english!

  • What do you mean "for an American"? Are you saying we don't speak english like say, Canadians? or Australians?

Sometimes i feel you brits just hate on Ameircans simply for being Americans, but keep watching our films and listening to our music.

    douche.

  • @craigferyahh -it is also known that Americans need a sense of humour inplant....

We do not hate our cousins across the pond -in fact at the moment we are the best friends you have got. Unlike some other's in europe I could mention. Of course we watch your films and music and as we BUY it we have the right to be critical if we want. We are divided by a common language: ENGLISH that is all :)

  • We have an awesome sense of humor, it's just different from yours.

You do realize that your pretty much hated equally around europe, right? But whatever, i could really care less what europe thinks, most of em are immigrating here like ants anyway.

And i have no beef with you guys, just get aggravated by some of your 'opinions' about us. That is all.

  • @craigferyahh yes YOU need a humour implant -my comment was not a critical comment Ms Bigelow-it was a complement! as for UK, no we are not loved by europe it is true -but we have had 500 years of their comments and at the end of the day we have accepted some but have shown them where they are going wrong since the 15thC-so I guess you can't expect to be loved! The US has to learn that you can't be loved all the time being the Super Power -they were jealous of UK when it was top dog afterall :=)

  • first female to win a BAFTA for directing! well deserved.

hopefully the Oscars will be as credible as the BAFTAS this year

  • James Cameron once hit that

  • The Hurt Locker IS as good as all the wins make it seem. It deserves each accolade it has received and Bigelow is breaking the way for the rest of us female filmmakers.

  • It's a Hollywood movie dude, Its not meant to be realistic.

If its was made to be realistic then it would be a documentary.

It was a really good film, my brother who is serving in the army said that even though the film exaggerates and is unrealistic, it still shows people what goes on in Iraq and Afghanistan and what the soldiers are put through and their feelings about being in war and the trauma.

  • Kathryn Bigelow is the tallest mutha fucka ever!... and also the hottest 58 year old I've ever seen

  • @toured87

    58 wtf?! i thought 40's

  • Well Deserved (X1000)

  • : )

  • Favorite Movie from the last year, it those gets what it deserve.

  • not sure the hurt locker is as good as all the wins make it seem but Bigelow seems to have potential and has already improved a lot since Near Dark. Great acceptance speech too.
