I've even better solution! I was vigorously working my way through various blogs and threads about this bug, and I came across this guy who posted a video where he actually used another bug to get past the "barred door" at the very beginning of the quest. Long story short, he used the bug to get through the back door that you would usually exit, cutting out this faulty puzzle door altogether. Hopefully you can find the video, because it worked for me. And trust me, I tried everything.

@Cruzify93 This bug you speak of, is the method of holding a plate against the exit door and then run against it towards the door, then followed by wirlwind sprint. if preformed correctly you should leap through the door and be able to open it back up from the other side. Hope this helps

It will ask u to download the patch so do that!!... and then go to the iron door again and just change the animals to the correct one!! and there u go the door is open!

so this is what u need to do!!! Put the rings to the animal before the correct one AND THAT BULLSHIT OF DOING IT FAST DOSENT WORK just levae them like that (the animal before) thn get to that loading door again and save ur game withe the start button .. dont turn off ur xbox just press the center button and go to system and CLEAR CACHE!!! after that restart the game and...

So i have this game for my xbox 360 and like everyone else when i got to this fucking door the rings wont even move!!! _( im not gonna tell u how to get the claw cuz its so easy if u can find it then ur and idiot) anyways to get the rings to move.. u just gotta go back and get out of the chammber ( not all the way out of the cave, just to the loading door) then re enter again and go to the door!!! and BOOM!!!!

if you first go in and its all dragons and wont budge, go back out the last door that causes a loading screen to appear and then go back and they will move, however, it wont open for me either :(

if you are using the the Xbox reload your last auto save and it should work.

For XBOX 360 users. This is an issue with XBOX 360 that sometimes even the correct combination will not open the door. I can't imagine this going unpatched, but who knows.

If you are on xbox having trouble with this door like I was, putting in the right combination and the door not opening : Put the rings to the animal before the correct one then change them all to the correct one as quickly as you can and start mashing the hey hole....worked for me

@RyanF88888 sorry but unless you can remember who you sold it too you can get it back, unless you use the console commands for it. if you have to resort to the console commands use this "player.additem 0008cdfa 1" hope this helps any further questions please ask.

The solution to the rings not moving is to exit and then re-enter the zone. Once I solved this bug I was soo relieved, followed by rage when the correct combination did not work. No solution has worked for me. F$#k this door and every line of code it represents!

i fixed it set the keys to right ebfore the animal and then set them quickly mash the keyhole with a or w.e and itll open takes a few tries !!!

We've established 2 things - the claw's on the pedestal right before the door, and you can't even turn the rings without having both vessels in your inventory. However, the combination on xbox360 still is not working.

@GingersNZ To even use the rings, you need the 2 vessels - 1 from the first area, 2nd one from the catacombs. The door still won't open though with this combination.

@Chilemoe Perhaps the combination is different on the xbox, im playing on the pc. open the item in the viewer and look on the bottom of it. the solution is on the bottom of every claw.

@Chilemoe It's actually a common XBOX 360 known issue that first the wheels may not turn at all or the correct combination does not work and matter of fact no combination works. I cannot imagine that this will go unpatched because without obtaining this mask you can't obtain the 9th dragon preist mask. This will make many players very unhappy.

@Purzelbaumking Im sorry but i cant remember off the top of my head, i've been rushing around places trying to het out some helpful vids, but dont always remember where i find things. More than likely i found the claw on a previous guy i killed or it was found in a table in a main room. sorry i cant help you any more. :(

@Purzelbaumking It's on a pedestal right behind him, Be warned. This door is bugged for most people. Sometimes you cant move the tiles and sometimes, even if the pattern is correct, it wont open. I have this problem.
