  • The body pads make the kicks less effective...

  • Comment removed

  • A fight of real strength

  • black guy can fuck em all

  • Every match I see where there is kung fu vs any other martial art kung fu always wins.

  • I think Sanshou would be great if they ditched the head and body gear and moved down to 4 oz gloves.

  • @LemonNation

Why? You think there's not enough action or do you just want to see blood?

  • @halo123321123 Fighters get to the clinch too easily. I think there are a lot of competitors who have very poor striking ability but can get inside without getting knocked out and score a throw. It also makes them a lot more bold when catching head kicks which I find entirely unrealistic. I have seen a number of guys get tagged in the head with a kick only to catch it and score a throw.

  • @LemonNation

Fighters get to the clinch too easily.

my 1st observation --- I asume takedowns score more high. The clincher should be more easily controlled with good punching.

  • @LemonNation This is tournament fighting. As with most tournaments protective gear is used. If you fight pro of course the gear is removed. I suggest you check out Cung Le

  • @CtheWolfe I know who Cung Le is. But even in pro Sanshou fighting they stick to the 8 oz gloves.

  • @LemonNation What do boxers wear? How about pro kickboxing? The only sport that uses 4oz gloves is mma. I don't suppose you have actually trained in boxing, muay thai or san shou have you?

  • @CtheWolfe Well, they also wear larger gloves and I find that less interesting.

Also, you are not right in saying MMA alone uses 4 oz gloves. Sambo competitors do as well. Lethwei fighters have no gloves at all.

I find both fun to watch.

  • @LemonNation So your interest in a sport is based soley off of glove size.... interesting.

  • two things stand out.

#1 the fighter in Black was way, way better that the other guy

#2 the fight itself was very well run

  • the korean was the better striker but the chinese was the better grappler, and in this case the chinese won coz grappling/takedowns has the most points, good for him. But i prefer striiking, coz dat will help in a real fight

  • @MechPhantom are you fucking stupid, the korean guy got hit way more in the face than the Chinese guy. Not to mention good striking doesnt include falling on your ass after performing a kick

  • @wiredtoawall im not stupid, but by watching how you type ,yea prolly u escaped form a mental stupid hospital . sorry bro thats just me not you xD,ur an idiot hehe

  • @MechPhantom btw if you consider performing haymakers "good" striking then you are fucking insane

  • @wiredtoawall thanks though for replying

  • @MechPhantom nice way of avoiding the facts by completely ignoring my comments. You sir should get a fucking nobel peace prize

  • @wiredtoawall yea you win the noble prize for being an idiot and sir i salute you !

  • @MechPhantom thanks but no thanks because you beat me to the job

  • @wiredtoawall dude shut teh fuck up already

  • @tldevilsh Cool story bro

  • @wiredtoawall oh shit, you are WIREDTOAWALL, THE INFAMOUS WIREDTOAWALL!!!! yo sorry man, I am the one that liked your channel for real. and YOU FUCKERS DONT MESS WITH WIREDTOAWALL OR I WILL RAPE YOU IN YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!

  • @tldevilsh Don't mess with us Persians! You hear me!?!?!?!?!

  • @wiredtoawall do persians smell like pakis? if then i'm not going nowhere near you haha!

  • dam, poor guy in red seemed emotionally and physically drained... pwnd

Notice that he did most of the attacking and less countering also adding to his exhaustion.

  • so which colour was which country? I'm guessing black was China...

  • @yardkyle yup, around 1:30 when red kicks black, black grabs red and does a take down, the commentator says the Chinese reacted very quickly etc etc... so the guy in black is China, guy in red is Korea. I'm Chinese, so i know what he was saying.

  • @TheZerosabre cheers,

i figured as much...i didn't think china could lose that badly at their own sport lol

  • @yardkyle yup, around 1:30 when red kicks black, black grabs red and does a take down, the commentator says the Chinese reacted very quickly etc etc... so the guy in black is China, guy in red is Korea. I'm Chinese, so i know what he was saying.

  • props to the korean guy for trying. It's hard to best China in something like Sanda.

    China, awesome as always!

  • this is clearly a tkd vs sanshou exhibition. the korean is a tkd practitioner that tried to learn sanda because 1) the korean cannot shake off his tkd habits, hands down for balance, bounces a lot 2) he has no grappling skills 3) always initiate with a kick first 4) punches like shit, as a matter of fact he swings those wild haymakers. a very big mismatch for these two, its like matchin a beginner with a world champ, clear domination for the chinese.

  • Red is Korea and black in China.

A clear mismatch. Kang is in league of his own. Very experienced and quick in reaction, strong in balance and flexible in throws. Although he used throws to score points, his punches are pretty good too. A very complete fighter.

  • I think the ref won by split decision?......the ref is Korean right guys?

    And the crowds Chinese"

  • Who is representing China and who is representing Korea?

  • @supatoker420 hmmm.... I wonder which country it was that completely dominated Beijing Olympics?

  • America

  • @supatoker420 you're a dick... it's the same stupid to say china is best at everything as it is to say they aren't good at all. They did dominate Beijing Olympics, however... kinda easy to proove that.

  • @lirchfein

Theres millions of fucking people in China, millions. So why would it be so hard to earn medals in your own country? With a population like that, it shouldn't bee to hard.

  • @supatoker420 it shouldnt be hard but yet your people didnt do it

  • china beat korea in soccer 3-0 recently, lol

  • then korea beat japan 3-1, so obviously china was playing easy korean team.. lol.

  • Not surprised that China won...

China is always better at sports than Korea.

  • great fight

  • China is black,Korean is red

  • Why sanshou fighters wear red and black?

    Can anyone tell me please?...

  • at 4:06 you can hear the red guy is korean.

  • The china man is in black and kimchi gook in red.

one, i have met kong before when I visited china in 2001, the close up at 0.33 is 120% him.he's top 20 in his weight class back them..

two, the ugly one is always gook

three, kimchi gooks always inferior at all sports, the losing one is always a gook. lol

  • hahaha xD. WUTTA NOOB! OMG xD. watch 1:39. The red guy had the chance and DID attempt to do a leg sweep but he ended up falling himself, i mean COME ON XD

  • I think Black is Chinese and Red is Korean, because i heard the Black one speak Chinese in the break time. But i'm not sure...

  • @baongoc9889

red also has more of TKD stance eh?

  • idk which guy is from which country, but the red guy got kicked his ass

  • 摔棒子

  • I am very surprised how mismatched this final fight was. Woo must have been very lucky to reach this final.

    Amazing skills from Kang.

  • what spark wang said they said that the the leg power is more than the korean. The only one that had the leg power was black

  • go china!

  • i really doubt that a korean fighter is going to where red and yellow in china to fight a chinese fighter for those that dont know red and yellow are the national colors of china

its sad that nationality is that important

asians need to be more unified

  • you can say that about any race. black people in africa need to be more united. the brown people in israel need to be more united. that white guys family needs to be more united.

  • @6ookstazz I feel the same too. Most sanshou fights the Chinese will wear Red and yellow

    Red = Bravery and aggressiveness

    yellow = prosperity

It's strange that they change colours now... :P

  • Nice fight! The fighter in black landed some heavy right hands. I always wonder, tough, why sanda fighters tend to lower their guard, unlike boxers or kick boxers.

  • the guy in black is from guangdong, China.

The guy in red is from South Korea

  • good fight

  • really good fight

  • @juandelacruzrodrigue

seemed kind of one sided though.

  • haha yeah its true

  • RED KOREAN BLACK CHINESE

  • no, i think its the opposite

  • no red is korea black china cuz i understand chinese...

  • You know the commentator said the red fighter was Vietnamese... don't know if that was an error on his part.

  • its an error on his part

the guy in red is Korean

    well....everyone makes mistake....even the commentator..lol

  • such a swindler, i m chinese he said 韩国人 its korean stupid?

  • 7:50

woooo!!!i like the way how he stops that TKD kick

  • ok lets all make it clear

at 4:15..the red guy's couch said somethin in Korean to him..wut he said i donno since i dont speak Korean

at 4:25..the couch said something to the guy in black in CHINESE..he said "do you need a towel?" the guy replied "no thankx" ...im Chinese so i understand it ok???!!!

    is that clear to you????

  • Comment removed

  • ok w/e that coach speaks at 4:15 i donno and i dont care...one thing for sure...hes not speaking Chinese

  • rofl even tho i culdnt hear it much it was pretty clear that guy in black said i dun need in mandarin

  • yeah...

in this situation is no different than "no thank you"

  • Dat Chinese dude gotta kno Kung Fu some how lol

  • lol actually Sanshou is one of the Kung Fu style

  • the speaker says it a couple of times... black fighter is chinese, but at the end it is not a fight between two countries! Its just a fight between two Sanda-Fighters. The one in black have more structured-power and stands very strong, the red one is more flexible, but doesnt have the destroying power to go through his opponent. The takedowns from the black-fighter r strong too because of his rooting and timing. The standarts of this two fighters r not the same, even both r high.

  • I speak Chinese. If you can understand what the narrators said, there would be no argument. The Chinese player was in Black, and the Korean player was in Red.

  • im Chinese too....i tried 2 explain this 2 that guy whos insistin the one in black is korean...

but he was jus like a deaf donkey or somethin.......

  • the black is chinese, at the end of the video u can tell who won the game.

  • yeah of course i know which one is which

we are just trying 2 tell an ignorant jackass (woodss3)

that the dude in black is Chinese

but since he and his gf all got this Korean mentality

he kept on insisting the guy who won is Korean....

  • This is for woodss3. I told you the last time to go and listen to 4:15. You were to have your Korean friend listen to the coach speak Korean to the guy in red. Did your friend deny the guy in red is Korean? Maybe your friend was too embarrass because the Korean was losing. Or are you folks just deaf that you can't hear what they are saying. The flags do not mean jack shit. It's in the wrong side. Maybe you don't know the difference between Korean and Chinese language.

  • If you listen to the coach speaking to the fighters, they were speaking in Korean to the fighter in red and speaking Chinese to the fighter in black.

  • listened intently and had my Korean friend listen and watch. We both tried that angle and were not able discern. Give me the min and second that you were able to pick this up and I will listen again.

  • 4:15 is Korean language and the and the fighter in black is in Mandarin.

  • seriously man

tell ur Korean frnd listn to 4:15

see if thats Korean or Chinese that the coach was speakin 2 the guy in red

  • i didmt know about this sport ,i have to say i liked alot its soo great!! . in 4:00- ouch! . well im from mexico tijuana .

    this is great

  • This is a cool match. Good throws from the fighter in black and nice display of heart from the fighter in red.

  • this looks like wrestlin rather than sanda.....

  • That's because Sanda combines elements of Shaui Jiao (Chinese Wrestling) and striking.

  • such a symbolic fight

  • the korea one suck slike hell

    LOL

  • IC...that is why the Chinese guy is getting thrown, punched, and kicked at will by the Korean... b/c he sucks?? It is so polite of the Chinese fighter to let himself get beaten so badly by the visiting Korean fighter. Chinese are so nice.

  • you blind? the chinese in black beat your pathetic countryman real hard!

  • Hey uneducated loser...I'm not Korean or Chinese. Are you blind???? Perhaps you don't know what a Chinese and Korean flag looks like??? I do..... and I can look at the end of the video where the fighters are represented with their flags look BLIND cookie boy before you spout off.

  • stupid sucker just look up "Woo Seung Soo vs Kang Yong Gang"

before taking a guess do some research you fool!

  • Comment removed

  • "nothing helpful", "not clear", "chinese guy fight in red", you are really being evasive aren't you?

when I say google "Woo Seung Soo vs Kang Yong Gang", try to use your brain a little, not only google text, but also images, one of such happen to be a picture of the very match in ENGLISH caption, clearly showing the Chinese Kang Yong Gang in black.

Why would you be so stubborn and boast your own ignorance and stupidity?

  • I'm done with this...I've looked into it, had people who speak Korean look at it. Nothing has shown to be evidence to persuade me that black is Chinese. I do not see an English subtitle version. I am satisfied that I am right:: Korean GF's opinion, the fact that the chinese guy wears the same red and yellow shorts (Chinese national colours) in other independant fights, the fact there is a Korean flag under black, and Chinese flag under red, the fact there is KOR under black, and CHN under red.

  • Spending so much time on a easy-to-verify match and still have the WRONG idea, what can I say to you? both you and your korean GF are retards.

  • seriously man

i donno wtf is wrong with that guy..geeezzzz

lets jus tell him 2 listn 2 4:15 and thn stop argurin with him..hes jus retarded

  • korean mentality maybe?

  • tell ur Korean frnd listn to 4:15

see if thats Korean or Chinese that the coach was speakin 2 the guy in red

  • but if u insist that they r speakin Chiense at 4:15

thn i can tell u r jus retarded

  • koreans suck dick looooooool

  • Actually,I think the Chinese guy sucks dick...he is the guy on his knees all the time (after getting embarassed/beaten constantly by the Korean fighter).

  • ur retarded. u cant even tell which is which. LOL. why bother comment? stupid chinks

  • hey smart guy look at 8:48, the guy in black who beats the guy in red of 8 mins is represented with a Korean flag and the symbols KOR...that means Korea fuck-tard.

  • LOL ur so stupid its unbelivable. stfu now thx =)

  • Wow...does your brain hurt form being so mentally challenged... Perhaps you don`t know what the Chinese or Korean flags look like. I guess your educational system is not so developed. Just to let you know KOR stands for KORea and CHN stands for CHiNa...like I said, at the 8min 48sec of this video the 2 fighters are clearly identified. So take a look little girl, and don`t be so rude or mummy might take your internet pivilege away.

  • hey woodss3, i donno why u r bein so rude

but tell u the truth, u r wrong, the guy in black is Chinese

i donno why at 8:48 the flags it shown was wrong side

  • btw, u wonder why i know which is which?becuz this video is in Chinese, and Im Chinese, I can perfectly comprehend wut was said in the background. At the beginnin, the narrator introduced "Chinese fighter Kang Yong Gang in black is facing korean fighter Woo Seung Soo in red"

  • also, this game was held in China, the crowds cheers everythin the guy in black throw the guy in red onto the ground. So do u really think Chinese ppl r actually cheering for the Korean guy????

  • Look at 4min 29sec. black's corner man look's to have Hungul written on his shirt(Korean characters), also at the 8min/48sec mark the guy in black has the Korean flag, and the symbols KOR (Korea) under him. The Guy in red and yellow (strangly similar to the Chinese national colours) has the symbols CHN (China) and the Chinese flag under him. In my opinion the crowd sounds disturbed when Red gets hit. Regardless, the crowd cheering was not a factor. This is straight forward guys- SIMPLY LOOK!

  • ok..ill stop argue with u..cuz its completely waste of time

but once again...i told u im Chinese and i understand wut they said in the video and the narrator did introduced the Chinese fighter as in black FOR GOD'S SAKE

  • i dont know why at 8:48 the flags were showed at wrong sides..but TRUST me, im not lyin 2 u

THE GUY IN BLACK IS CHINESE

oh well, if u keep insist on the idea that the guy in black is Korean becuz u cant accept the fact that Korean guy lost..thn w/e makes u happy

  • My Korean friend has just come over, and knows nothing about our debate. I just asked her which one she thought was Korean and without any prompting she immediately said the guy in black looks Korean. No evidence points to black as Chinese, and much points to him as Korean. I think I will trust the evidence I see in this clip and my friend`s Korean experience. I am not Chinese or Korean, so I don`t have any nationalistic ties to these fighters.

  • w/e

  • holy fuck,

both you and ur little Korean girlfriend are dumbass, seriously, could u be more stupid?!

  • @woodss3 wow u fail

  • If you listen to the coach speaking to the fighters, on the red side, they were speaking in Korean and the black side speaking in Chinese.

  • they stand on opposite sides to show respect to their opponents corner. and unless you could understand the entire commentary i doubt you are qualified to evaluate their ethnicity

  • There are some stupid racist comments. Blablabl korean better blabla chinese better blabla american better.

You racist guys fucking realize that training is the key? You train hard, you win. You fight a lot, you gain experience.

  • Here here! Thumbs up!

  • k they are both good fighters and any of you fags who make fun of either countries, Im pretty sure those fighters can at least kick your ass

  • Koreans say they are more skilled than the Chinese.

  • **CAN Be White Black or Hispanic i meant =)

  • i don't understand your logic...

  • so this means you suck

  • go check out how many US fighters kid yamamoto, masato and kazushi sakuraba, Fedor, Mirko Crocop KOed

  • wow what?

  • korea and chinese people should not have these unhealthy tensions between us... those japanese on the other hand, well, i'll just say that i choose not to forgive and forget.

  • oh brother ....

  • National pride aside, credit goes to Kang for being a skilled Sanshou fighter. I'm sure the table might be turned if he had to fight Woo in a taekwondo match, since rules are different. For that matter, both athletes might not do so badly in UFC either, if there were weight divisions. As for having the guts to fight in UFCs, let's face it, in China or South Korea, there's no publicity/emphasis in the UFCs. So, guys, let's keep our cool and can racism here. Remember why we learn martial arts.

  • thank u for an intelligent response... sometimes lacking in these comments

  • yeah thats so treu

and yet ur Korean fighter got beatn up by one of the so-called "cowards"

  • the black one=kang yong guang=康永刚, Chinese sanda champion, born in Guangdong,

the red one=fucking korea one, with no title

  • @recigar No,his face obviously doesn't look cantonese....Mr Kang was actually from Shantung

  • red is korea. if i lying god will send me to hell! black is china and china won.

  • the video itself shud be declared by english subtitiles, becoz i see too many stupid korean around here saying dat korean is the winner, becoz it's koreanlogic, every competition between of chinese and korean, korean is the winner, always, and chinese must be loser.pathetic south korea dog

  • ya korean thing they are good at everything!

    FUCK KOREAN!

  • Black is chinese player, kang yong gang.

    Red is korean, woo something,

  • we can hear that when black hit red ,every one shouted whith chinese,it means that black is chinese!!!!

I am a chinese ,I can under stand what they said!!!

Iif YOU are not chinese ,just shut up!!!

  • 미친새끼야,넌 한국말도 모르냐?! 빨간팬티 입은 새끼가 한국 새끼거등

    Fucking idiot!Red onez Korean~!

    傻B 刚红色教练都了讲韩文都不知道

  • korean sucks =)

  • hey koreans is tallest people in asia bitch

    fucking 짱꼴라 그지같은색기

  • moron, the black 1 is called kang yong gang, a chinese, stupid, and learn language b4 posting ur

    crappy comments,

u knw nothing about the sanshou players stop stop ur bullshittin' here.

and i knw korean is the most shameless nation in asia. A shame of Asian. son of a bitch

  • @slkdjfkl Shut the fuck up kimchi pig,Korean average height is shorter than North Chinese

  • Sanshou é tudo...muito boa...

queria muito fazer sanshou...pena que eu nao acho escola por aqui...

  • china king =D

  • Yeah. My Chinese girl just checked it and she said the guy in Black is Chinese, sure enough. The announcer said it.

  • Yes, the black guy as mentioned by the narrator in the video, is Chinese, named kang young Gang. Then the red guy should be the korean guy. =)

  • Korean Guy won. Look at the flag when they raised the black guys hand. That's the Korean symbol.

  • lol so korea lost if i was korean i would kick that guys ass

  • looks like somebody had a couple beers

  • yes red one is really korean
