After the first minute I was going to turn it off because it didn't catch my interest. Then I decided to watch some more just out of a little curiosity to see if anything happens. I liked it. It builds up gradually. And I loved the music! So moody and relaxing.
The title sequence from the famous movie adaptation of Daredevil, the blind comic book superhero, did this same thing with braille and the night time cityscape. Yours almost looks like it.
It's great! It shows the night in a big city very well!
I always get a feeling similiar to this video when travelling by train through Utrecht. Lines of light flashing by, without beeing able to see what they are. Cars, houses, flats, city lights.
Somehow, it also made me think of Ayreon's video for Beneath the Waves (won't post link to the video for else this comment will be marked as spam...)
I like it.Really.I didn't knew what I thought when I saw this work thirst time, but when sad that whole city is build for blind people and what they maybe thought I must sad thet your idea and vid are the whole.
Too slow for my taste. Dont take me wrong, it was impressive of course. But I lost my interest from the very beginning, but kept watching it expecting things to speed up in time with the music. A bit dissapointed thats not how it turned out.:/ But kudos anyways man.
I actually know it is morse code. the braille was where this inspiration came from, at the very beginning, i was thinking what actually can blind people see... in their head, just groups of codes right? they see a city as C-I-T-Y right?
i've been digging through typography files all afternoon and this is perhaps one of the most ambitious and creative pieces i've yet to see. using explosions to build your cityscapes... i don't even know what to say... except maybe i'm in love. ; )
I studied this video the other day in the class of multimedia languages.
It's just amazing...

this is a great piece of art and it is very inspiring!
You know that you've succeeded in art when people feel something in what you've created.
