  • I just love Big Mama Singers. They are truely the very best.

  • SING!

  • I love her! To hell with whoever disliked this video....

  • Great Song!!! My name is Misty and all My life I've heard about this song.... Love it!!!

  • Miss Moore makes me PROUD to say that I, too, am from Jackson, Mississippi.

  • One of the baddest songs & voices ever!

    Thanks for posting.....

  • i agree, her voice gives me the chills in a good way. she sounds better than joe simon. she looks great with that afro. God bless these singers from the past who didn't get to make the money the singers of today like beyonce, rhiana and usher.

  • she is such ah amazing singer my favorite!!!!

  • How could anyone dislike this? wat a brilliant touching version by a wonderful singer i just wish we could see the whole performance!

  • Oh noooOOOoooooooooWaH!!!!Oh...ah was RELLY enjoying that!!!!Shit...!!Ok...ok...it is what it is,nothin ah can do to change that ah guess...so...that was absolutely fanTAStic man!!Ahm a bit kinda shokked as it go's,because even though she's singing it in a lower register,Miss Dotti can still sAng!!And what a track to sing too...juss captures the ache (if not even, truthfully, raw pain) in mah heart perfectly!!Ahv loved this track from TIME man...iss a blinding track,sho-nuff!!The tears ahv shed...

  • like I always say black people just get better as time passes

  • okay dorothy

  • WOW!! is all i can say!

  • I cannot believe my ears. What a woman, what a singer.

  • Comment removed

  • She is AWESOME!!!!!!!!

  • @xicobionico Most everyone's voice gets deeper with age. Professional singers over work their voices which in turn strains the vocal chords...either their voice gets deep and sexy or it gets shakey. Dorothy was one of the lucky ones who got the deep, rich and sexy voices. It also depends if the person smokes or not.

  • I cry hearing this............Thank You Miss More. Beautiful Lady

  • i love her tone..but why singers low her tone with age?

  • who is the fucken hater here? how can you not love this song.....

  • Dorty Rocks!

  • to all : yup !!!

  • This song is a Masterpiece, my two favorite artists that sings Misty Blue are Dorothy Moore and Joe Simon, no other can compare. When this song came out, I was involved with someone from the Caribbean, we broke up and would get back together. When we got back together on that final try, he mentioned this song to me. I am sure he still thinks about me.

  • oh YES!!! thats that soul music right there (goes to slow dance)

  • This was my mom's favorite song ,she passed away of pancreatic cancer in 92 God I miss that woman and it always makes me cry

  • @MrMerrick1 ah Lord. we're in the same situation. my mom loved this song and sang it all the time. she passed away in 96. she was paralyzed from 1990 when i was born. miss her too.

  • LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! one of my all time favorite songs!

  • ohh. why did you cut it short?

  • Simply Beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Uma verdadeira DIVA.

  • loved her in the 70s

  • Loved you in the 70's, love you in 2010!!! Hairs stood up in the 70s, what is left are on ends now! :) kisses

  • This is what you call growing old gracefully & being genuine. Just watched Roberta Flack who I have tickets to see in Nov at Brighton - she looks like a dummy, nothing on her face moves except her mouth. Go there Dorothy for keeping it real.

  • Wow!!!! Amazing! The song sounds even more glorious now!

  • GREAT!!!

  • thank you for posting this video she is the best ever and so is this song

  • still great

  • This is one of the most beatiful songs ever made and I dedicate it to the world.

  • OMG WOW......BEAUTIFUL

  • SANG Dorothy, SANG!!!!!

  • such a classic.

  • I love this woman! she is one of my inspirations in singing myself xxx

  • this is the jam

  • She's made that song BETTER with age. It pains me that Whitney cannot stand beside women like Dorothy Moore when she gets to her age.

  • Better with age. To bad it broke off

  • Wow!

  • WOW!!! Its better now then it was when she was younger

  • awsome i dont even sound like her thoe lol :)

  • Voice is just as strong as it was years ago, better with time.

  • She's huge now, but she's still got the voice that charms a snake.

  • When the original artists sing these older classic songs many years later it's sometimes a huge disappointment. Not this time.

  • I'm so disappointed it cut her off! She really got BETTER with age, not the norm for a singer! Wonderful!

  • the she is the better the song is!! like wine ! :-))

  • Awe, too bad it cuts off. Her voice has grown deeper and richer. Beautiful.

  • She's just absolutely awesome!

  • I am so proud to be able to say Dorothy Moore and I share a hometown...Jackson, Mississippi

  • I shared the stage with Dorothy as part of the Mid-South Revue during my high school days. Our group was known as the Paramounts. (Lavalle, Joe, Pepper, Tyrone, and Jude) It was a great experience. We are so proud of her.

  • Such A Refined Voice. Kudos!

  • WOW, her voice is so rich now. She sounded awesome when young and now with the deep rich voice, it gives me chills! Awesome!

  • I love Dorothy Moore! Monica did a fairly decent cover, so did mary J and of course Joe....but nobody and I mean NOBODY could ever do Dorothy Moore like Dorothy Moore! WOW..makes me want to cry all over a gain

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase post the rest!

  • Her voice is like wine it gets better with age it has that depth, and rough edge that says this is my song and I'm going to sing it the way I feel it. Boy does she hit you in the solarplex with this song. Sister repect, respect repect !! Unfortunately the band is a bit to loud.

  • I TOTALLY agree with you. She's the bomb!!!!

  • Holy Cow Miss Dorothy, My Mom had a juke box and when I was a little girl she would play this song over and over. I will always be my #1 song. I even have it on cd so i can listen to it in my car girl!!!! I am still your #1 fan and would love to see you sing this live. Anyone who got to see this no fair! All I have to say is you go Girl!!!!!

  • Dorothy looks good. I heard Mary J's version today of Misty Blue of course Joe

and Dorothy version is better. Mary gave it her very best and I do love Mary J's singing, but this song belongs to Dorothy and Joe.

  • She still has it after all these years!!

  • Wonderful to see Dorothy Moore is well. I just read that she is only 62 years old but this clip makes her look so, so mature.

  • this is the real deal, love it

  • Mary J did this song.Great But not like the origanal. Her mom loved this song as i do.!!!!!

  • Iam a real Misty Blue fan, but if she whas singing this song in 1976, That whas great, also the expresion in her face, but, this is still nice.

  • Dorothy, I don't care what anybody says. You still got it going on. And your voice only gets better and better as time goes on. Keep on doing what you're doing. I LUV IT!!!!!

  • What a real treat, I have always wanted to see her in concert. This is the next best thing thanks

  • wish i had her as a grandma, love her

  • She has so much SOUL!!!

  • this is soooo great to see...I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!and its always wonderful to see the originator put it down

  • Dorothy Moore is not the originator of this song. Many sang it before her. There is a beautiful version by Joe Simon which I have always preferred. It is right here on Youtube.

  • but baby nobody sang it like she did. she put her stamp on it.
