Brandy fan, meet Fauntleroy fan. Having played these songs tons of times, I tend to get sort of defensive about them. Can Brandy carry a song the same way James can? No. I'd rather have the James version, then.

& Where does it say he wrote it for her? The lyrics clearly come from a male perspective. As did the demo for "Torn Down". Fauntleroy just sounds natural on his own songs. I'll admit, Brandy killed Drum Life, though. But only cuz I never heard James sing it lol.
