Its actually Yugi all grown up he's voice just mature. if you Dawn of the Duel when Atem was a kid he'd had the same voice as Yugi. Plus Atem is afterlife. Remember the last episode of YUGIOH! So overall its Yugi years later. He's just more older with a different voice.

If first gen is all the seasons including Yugi and Atem, then they would make a better deck. Some of the monster back then had good attack for 4 star monsters. and a lot of the magic and traps could be used at anytime not like in 5D's or Gx where you need to summon a certain monster or group of monsters first

Since most of the best first gen cards required tributes, and most of the monsters back then that were four stars had really crappy atk and couldn't last more than 1 turn, i'd say that first gen is crappier unless you lucked out like most of the charachters in this bullshit show do.
