Coming from someone whose userename is Metallica5251 it's quite funny actually xD Mate, i've seen both Metallica and Megadeth live, at the Big 4 concert in Athens and believe me, Metallica are something else. I was really looking forward to listening to songs from Endgame live but i was really let down by MD. Mustaine didn't even get the intro of Headcrusher right. On the other hand, Metallica nailed it. Every single song they played. Believe me, Metallica are light years ahead.

With the exception of the KEA album, James sang with harmony (required to be considered singing) and war cry delivery (think of his classic EEAAHH!!! during his prime) whereas Dave spent most of his career delivering songs in a conversation-like manner with a tune to it, never attempting harmony. It holds true today, James sings like a choir boy (because his voice blew out) and Dave still rhythmically barks out the lyrics of his songs.

If I had to choose between Megadeth or Metallica in terms of all time favorite band, it'd have to be Metallica. Now don't scream at me, I love Megadeth, too! It's just that I'm an all time die hard Metallica fan since I got my first taste of them in '07. Began with One, then Death Magnetic, then I got all of their albums. I dislike how generic they've gotten since Justice, but in the end I still love the band to death.
