if it was given, it would've been 2-2. and been a different case. for those who think germany would still have thrashed england, all i can say is that it would have been a whole lot different. no doubt germany were the better team but england were deprived of that small chance which they deserved of winning the game. another thing is that the 3 and 4 goals were both scored on countr attack. this was when england commited men forward and were caught out at back. would that have happened at 2-2?
