This whole scene, at the end when he says he'll skip the rewind, I know it's not part of the story to keep going back, but it annoys me a little that they treat all other previous doctors like they didn't quite exist.

The reason they didn't show much of the other Doctors in the first season is because they didn't want to introduce the idea of regeneration too strongly before the end. If you know your Classic Who, you'll see Ten almost always talks about having met certain enemies "ages ago"; I think that Steven Moffat is just less nervous about alienating new viewers by putting in bits old fans will love.

The montages in The Eleventh Hour and The Lodger, his library card in Vampires of Venice, the ID machine in Vincent and the Doctor--come on, they didn't have to go through every other Doctor in existence during the rewind; it would have used up an incredible amount of unnecessary screentime that had nothing to do with the story.

Look, it's a normal thing on Dr Who. Actors come and go, the Doctor changes every few years. It's part of the show and I think it's what makes it so interesting. You have a fresh start every time.

I also love the tenth Doctor and was sad to see him go, but now it's time for eleven to shine, don't you think? :)

The 11th Doctor is equally brilliant as the tenth and so are all the other 9 Doctors, every one in his own way.
