Jeex have none of you ever seen an interview with J before? This is just his personality - look at every interview with him on youtube he always talks like he just popped a bunch of klonopin. he's a mellow dude
@chadleyxhanley Hey man im not trying to stand up for him but he was and probably still really depressed....Or he is an asshole who likes to nod off all day and turn himself into alittle drooling baby.
I don't know about him being strung out v. straight edge or whatever, but I have never seen an interview where J doesn't act exactly like this. It seems like he just has a REALLY mellow personality. Not to mention, you put the average person in front of a camera with a bunch of lights and start asking questions, most are going to be awkward.
@TheShloonktapooxis It was Thurston. Every once in a while he use to host 120 Minutes. In fact, I remember that particular interview back in the day. I miss that show.
he's playing pentatonic minor scale, but he's throwing a lot of major scale notes in there too. but the best thing to do if you want to play like him would be to learn to play his solos
I've met J personally backstage, and this is how he is, he's just extremely mellow but kinda weird in a adorable way.

@chadleyxhanley You're full of shit. J has always been straight edge and never fooled around too much with drugs or alcohol.

I saw them the next day in Derby, they played well but the venue was the worst ever and didn't do much for their sound.
