  • @bphutchins - Sorry to disappoint you, but you’re wrong it is me, but thank for the wonderful compliment!

  • Whhooa, Klaus Wunderlich flashback! Except that you don't segue from one song to the next every 19 seconds.

    Frickin' AWESOME, dude :D

Except for the MIDI credits music - you shoulda played that on the Concorde!

  • @SugarKeys Thanks so much for the kind words. Just the mention of Klaus Wunderlich in reference to my playing (good or bad) is an honor. Thanks again!!!

  • hahaha that sounds like a bizarre porn movie music... was that your intention? Just joke, I dont like this particular Hammond organ ( Im a Jhon Lord fan)

  • @StreamOfMetal Just two differant styles of music, sorry you didn't enjoy it!

  • @Hamaround Just joking, that sound remember me of some horror movies like frankenstein or Alien movies from the earlys 60´s...can it be? I love to hear some of that sound mixed whit a Terabox!!

  • The Hammond Concord series was always my favorite organ, especial the 2307!

  • @patsaxon I sold Hammonds for a while and when the Concorde was introduced I fell in love with it but it was priced way out of my league so had to wait and buy one used 8 years ago.

  • Hey, is that like a B3 with additional functions added??

  • @RayManzarekGod - Not at all - The Concorde was Hammond's first all electronic non tone wheel console organ !

  • @Hamaround OH! Interesting!

  • @Hamaround Very interesting!

  • @Hamaround I thought it had a tiny tonewheel generator with only 12 wheels and electronics to divide down the rest of the frequencies. Maybe I am thinking of another model? I know Hammond always boasted their tonewheel gen would never need tunning. They knew they would loose some of their fans if they ever dropped it.

  • @capacityplus Sounds like the X66 & X77 the Concorde was all electronic, Hammond called it LSI Large Circuit Integration it was introduced in 1973 and in 1975 the last tone wheel organ Hammond built came off the assembly line the legendary B-3.

  • Now this is music you can feel :)

  • @CadillacL I hope it's a good feeling! LOL

  • @Hamaround sureis :)

  • Hamaround is just great, please keep rolling

  • @hammmmondB3 - Thanks it's nice to get replies such as yours helps to make my day!!!

  • Awesome Bob!

I really dig your style, and I love the fact that your Hammond seems to have a venerated spot in your home.

    Have fun!

  • The pix of the Concorde was in our home in Ohio. Playing the organ has been a big part of my life even though I never took a lesson, can barely read music and play nearly everything in the key of C I made a pretty good living, playing them in lounges, selling them and servicing the ones that needed help. By the way the old Concorde has a prominent place in our home in Texas too. Thanks foe your comments.

  • 5 ***** ! I love The Beatles songs, I used to played The Beatles sheets note for note, chord for chord, but when I listen to your video, I'm pretty sure I was wrong, you seem to get so much fun out of your instrument ! Fantastic "interpretation" ;-)

  • That's what it is all about having fun. I think Interpretation and style mean much more than technical ability to play the song as it is written.

Anyone can be taught to read sheet music the fun comes from taking what's printed and making it your own. In my case a just drink a few glasses of wine and it seems to happen! LOL Thanks so much for your comments it made this old man smile!

  • You Are SO RIGHT. I had one lesson on a hot summer day. Mom gave up becouse I wasn't doing it by the notes. She couldn't understand ear playing back then. Years later my wife (a note reader) gets irritated when I hear something, then sit down a play it my way in 3-5 minnutes. I don't play it correctly but friends say I'm entertaining. Too many "Think inside the box" I say "Get out of the box and Live !" I have a few videos on here and I left the mistakes in them but I had a blast anyway. Thanks !

  • It's all about having fun!

  • , i would love to the the chorus slowed down and drawn out, i think it would be a nice transition from the fast intro

  • With the limits of the old school rhythm unit the Concorde has you pretty much have to stay with the same tempo throughout a song but thanks for the suggestion.

  • My grandma had one of those. I wish I could buy it. how much does one of those run?

  • Thank-God for Laurens Hammond! R.I.P. our good friend!

  • What would we be doing without him!

  • YES Different key, Different tempo,Different beat, Different interpretation, Different style. If you play a song so it sounds just like the original you are just like a parrot mimicking something that has already been created, but when you experiment taking things in a different direction you make the song your own and have created something new. The world may not like it, but if You are happy with it it becomes yours and thats what really counts.

  • Welcome to the club at 62 I'm always confused. I think it started after listening to the White Album for the first time without being high.

  • Nice playing~

And the organ's sounds are so good

    tasty~

  • Makes me wish I could go back to a different time. Music of today are nothing compared to this. AWESOME job.

  • @CadillacL so good to read your comments. I turned private with my music, but friends are welcome

  • I have a Klaus Wunderlich album with this, and in all honestly, I like your version multiples better. Keep them rolling!

  • Thanks! I took a lot of liberties with the Beatles original but what the heck life goes on "BRA".
