  • not bad at all! you have some good skills

  • Not bad, but the "Swords crossed" piece is a fast paced song, this in it's current form doesn't seem to fit that much

  • what is the titel of the piano piece?

  • Imagine a Battle fleet Gothis RTS game, like Dawn of War! That would be awesome!

  • @808thampire there is a mod for it

  • Why is the Leviathan flying backwards?

  • @Pooknottin It's not.

  • @AGrumpyPanda Yes it is. I'd advise looking at all the artwork and models of the leviathan.

  • @Pooknottin If by the leviathan you mean any of the tyranid ships, they're all facing the right way.

  • @AGrumpyPanda I mean the specific ship called the leviathan. It is not facing the right way. I'd post links to resources proving this, but can't as YT is too prissy to let me these days.

  • @AGrumpyPanda The leviathan hive ship is pointing the right way mate, the claws point to the back, with the weapon nascells on the front.

  • Very nice animantion, they need to bring out such computer games. Other than Home World.

  • Does anyone know what the music is?

  • Tyranids always win they just keep coming there is no stopping them go hive mind

  • @56skim thats because the hive fleets are only splinter fleets of the true hive fleet that lays outiside the galaxy.

  • Nice job... ! :D

  • you need like a million more ships

  • at about 2:40... god damn cowards. i hope whoever they run to executes them. abandoning the colony like that

  • agreed, and tyranids will attack with a "little" bigger fleet.

  • i like it...maybe a gothic sound track-- plus i think those ships would have launched a barrage of torpedoes first...imperium got rocked :( that battleship got owned like instantly, thats a shame they dint launch bombers to protect it...

  • i do believe its a Strike Cruiser...idk it may be a battle ship

  • it is a MARS CLASS battleship. As per design and in image in the movie. Nova cannnons, long range lances long range batteries and fighers/bombs.

and it got owned 1 shotted!

  • very nice dude, space battles are usually fought at much greater distances than that though, apart from that very good, oh and great choice for the music

  • BWAHAHAHWAHAHHAAHAA!!!

Sorry, that's a very funny comment. I Iove the straight-face delivery. "space battles are usually fought at much greater distances than that though". Yuk, yuk!

  • The Tyranids are a hive mind meaning there is only one mind and so that means that the tyranid fleet would be colossal and large enough for no one to defeat... unless the giant cannon at angel gate in DOWII

  • theres a mod for sin's of a solar empire that gives you 40k battleship's and shit its quit shit but thats my view i remain faithfull to the god of khorne and the traitor legions and renegade warbands that will wage war and bloody battles againts the imperium of man ''blood blood more blood for the blood god''

    cool vid bro 5/5

  • where could I get said mod?

  • yeah khorne is cool, i collect chaos space marines, (warhammer 40k) and khorne and tzeentch are my favorite

  • i dont think the ships look living enough and there would be hundreds of them. i love the animation though.

  • Yeah I wanted to make it more "epic" I even modelled fighters for the battlecruiser to deploy but ran outta time. Maybe I'll go back and make a new one one of these days : )

  • @Dinobot2468 could be a splinter fleet

  • still even splinter fleets have thousands of ships.

  • @Dinobot2468 yeh from the novels i read they sound more insectay than what was shown here. not bad animation though.

  • Are Space Hulks stolen imperial ships or a VERY large breed of space dwelling Tyrannid? Because I heard on one end the space marnies attempted to "retake" a Space Hulk, and I heard another story of an assault on a space hulk's organ to stop a hive landing...

  • Space hulks are a catch-all term for all abandoned and drifting starships from any race. Most of these ships drift through the warp or normal space for eons and collide with junk/asteroids/other hulks and become huge labirynths filled with dangers and sometimes treasure. Usually danger though - In the form of Tyranid infestations or other nasty things.

  • @AEigner Actually, while Genestealers do stow aboard ships and space hulks, the large ships there are actually ALIVE. Yes, they are huge living Tyranids. They aren't the Hive Mind, but are alive and carry thousands, maybe Millions of Tyranids on them.

  • @TheFoilGuy heh .. they are... just fucking deformed Ships .... that Cary Stains from chaos.... and Tyranids....and they travel in random... kinda of warps i believe... something like that so theres were nids come from and the Evil comes from the warps/. i aint sure ... but a "soul" can turn evil by being inside it To much....

  • @TheFoilGuy a apace hulk is two or more vessels that have crashed and melded together in the warp

  • Very nice modeling work ;)

  • Earth is a desolate hive-ridden wasteland, there are no more majestic oceans or verdant forests, and I highly doubt there's anything breathable left in the atmosphere. That must have been a small colony already compromised by genestealers for a hiveship to even show up. Simply put, that wasn't earth.

  • Bingo. Just 'cause it's blue doesn't mean it has to be earth. Could be some small colony out in Ultima Segmentum.

  • A few points of criticism, Imperial ships have beastly broadside arrays, and while some cruisers have prow torpedoes and nova cannon, the primary weapons are facing abeam (to the sides). BFG is supposed to be "old naval wood-and-sail warships IN SPACE" and not giant [spinal] guns on giant drives, each turn of movement and volley of fire takes several hours in-game; behemoth starships are very slow. I love your renders and particularly enjoyed seeing niddy cruisers ramming everything to pieces.

  • @keithsimonh i thought earth was terra and if earth was then the massive home fleet of a few thousand ships would be crappy then

  • i realy doubt that a Tyranid Hive could get to Terra, there are just to much defences. Besides from the hundreds of battle cruisers orbiting the planet, there are also weapon satelites and planetbased weapons that can fire into space. then there are like a few billion Imperial Guards on the planet (there are much more people in the future) and about evry space marine chapter will probly come to. there is just no way you can defeat that

  • are there still genesteal hybrids and that matey that looks exactly like a human that the nids use to infiltrate human society if so theres your answer but last mention of them i heard was wayyyy before any of the newer post 99 codex' came out

  • The Tyranids could get to Terra if they focused on it. Sure, the Imperium fleets and defenses would inflict massive casualties on the invaders, but the Tyranid numbers are just so ridiculously vast that they would eventually overwhelm the Imperium forces.

  • no they would starve if they tried to invade terra nids are not designed for long term battle and when every imperial vessel and trooper turn up its gona be a long war of attrition in which the nids would starve

  • course they are they hide underground then strike right under the enemy

  • The Tyranid Hive fleets were drifting between galaxies for thousands upon thousands of years before they came to the Milky Way. They are not going to starve.

  • @billyboyjennings and in that time they always found food but in the warriors of ultramar book durin the winter they starve if held at bay they cant fight long term wars

  • I agree. If hunger was a common hindrance for Tyranid fleets, they would have evolved beyond a need for it.

Tyranids consume planets to expand, not to merely stay alive.

  • That's not Terra, Terra has no green left.

  • good work ;)

    but... the last ship deserted?

    :S

  • am not dissing ur work it is really good

but that isnt really how tyranids fight in space they fire kind of drop pods at the ships which if they hit burn through the outer hull of the ship so that the tyranids can harvest the crew of the ship

  • Well they also fire bioplasma, which is what you're talking about. Yes they shoot their version of boarding torpedoes too.

  • its really nice, however i would suggest making the tyranid ships more organic, you can use a texturer for that (i use bryce)

  • Tyranids know no fear they don't skip worlds

  • nice,i once tried to learn how to make 3D Models, but it was a epic fail, howevfer yours is really nice

  • Damn YouTube! This song has nothing to do with this video! And this song sucks! :P

  • What i think is that the necrons and tyranids never fight because

Necrons kills because the nightbringer can eat their souls

since tyranids doesnt have souls their actually wasting then their time killing them

and tryranids needs to eat as well and why does a tyranids wants to eat metal?

  • Tyranids Never meet necrons, because of the powerfull psychic and pure power of the necron tomb worlds, tyranid Norn queens actually 'get frightened' and pass those necron owned planets to move onto another planet

  • they do?

    aww aww aww AWESOME

  • nid invasions constist of trillions of soldiers, necrons come in very large numbers but i doubt that they can holf off that many even though they are the better warriors most of the time

  • Considering Necron can't fight forever without loses I think it will be like an unstopable force meeting an inmovable object

  • ya probably, but what i would really want to see would be tyranids vs orks vs necrons vs imperial guard all in 1 battlefield at the same time all those armies come in inurmerable numbers

or just every race at once on 1 battlefield

  • Does NOBODY read the Tyranid fighting styles? Tyranids interrupt Necron communications with their synapse aura. As such, the Necrons would be pretty much blind to each Tyranid raid/attack. The fight would be a massive stalemate. A war of constant flowing 100% Organic soldiers fighting 100% Metal soldiers. It'd never end until one side declared defeat, and there's very little chance of that being the Tyranids OR Necrons.

  • good post. Also consider though the fuel that each side needs. The Necron's power source has never been really mentioned (not the same as the C'Tan) - but the 'nids need biomass. After all living things in the galaxy are consumed - they starve - no more energy. That's why they moved out of their home galaxy (most likely) Necrons... well who knows? hehe

  • Whats the music?

  • Dunno - Youtube muted my video because I used a copyrighted song so I picked at random from the classical royalty-free choices they gave me to replace it.

  • thing is it if the necrons were about to lose they do have the technology of teleportation so they could just teleport out of the synapse aura and have a whole fleet of tomb ships come and own the nids

  • Nids use warp technology unconsciously, so they do the same exact thing. Swarms and swarms of tyranids in massive hive fleets. An entire company of ultramarines and a shitload of ships were destroyed by the FIRST encountered tyranid fleet.

Now I'm not some stupid Tyran-Elitist(IG Ftw), I'm just trying to settle the score here.

  • How can nids interrupt Necron communications?

  • those are star wars ships not nid ones

  • lol, you better get some info before you say anything :D

  • imperial guard is good, but Tyranids are mostly better. Carnifexes crush their tanks, and hormagaunts mow down the guardsmen :)

  • Dude, have you seen the new Guard rules? Seriously. You're wrong.

  • go imperial guard they might not by strong individualy but they win thereb attle by numbers and a hell of a lot of firpower i collect the minuters and i own my brother 70% of the time lol and we have equal points so yea for the emperor!

  • ooorrhh... they killed them all, thats realy a sad scene :o(

  • not nessicarily its like terminator some will always survive, rebels, or just people with the desire to live, tyranids suck a planet of its nutrients, not destroy it, there would be a chance

  • No actually there would not be survivors first the tyranids are constantly hungry they would eat all life forms. and yes they suck a planet dry but all that is left is a lifeless rock it doesnt even have air so no life form could survive because there would be nothing to eat and drink and breathe.

  • Not true. When tyranids decend on a planet they will send swarms of tyranids that consume, all vegetation and people on the planet. They leave behind oceans of acidic nutrients for the tyranid fleet. Than the hive ships will drink them and consume the ENTIRE atmosphere. There will be no one left.

  • you dont survive a nid invasion when its done, when everything has been digested and is on the ship the suck away the atmosphere

  • well, the tyranids are by no means a weak foe to the imperium but they have gotten their asses handed to them, not by the space marines, but by the trusty Imperial guard, the guard may use some time but when they first set their sights on something you do NOT want to be the target, they usually win in the end, and it dosent amtter how big and powerful you are, the ones still standing in the end are the winners HAIL THE IMPERIUM

  • amen to that! Imperial Guard are not cowardly by a long shot, the amount of stories you hear about a small contingent of guardsman defending and holding a location of utmost importance is numberless, just like their ranks. Only reason IG are so weak is because thay do not have the equipment to provide a force thats capable, except for the elite squads and the tanks thay have to offer are second to none!

  • lol tyranid ships do not like the real ones at all

  • I used to play a home made Nid fleet with lots of drones...and I mean lots. Cruisers and Hive ship were able to grapple with other ships and do a boarding action, which the Nids did very well at.

    Also played them in 40K...

  • I wouldn't call the Guardsmen cowardly, i have commanded them for many years and have won many campaigns with them.

  • The tyranids would be much harder to stop than you think. The space marines, even with all the chapters combined only number in the thousands, and the inquisition and the daemon hunters would help but that still isn't enough. The guardsman are to cowardly to fight billions of tyranids and thousands of hive fleets. The eldar wouldn't help the imperium, their just as likely to destroy the planet the tyranids are attacking to keep the hive fleets from consuming it and growing.

  • Only the orks can beat them... but, you know, they are allways fighting eachother.

  • Actually, before the Horus Heresy, there were 20 Space Marine Legions, each consisting of hundreds of thousands of Space Marines. Even if you take out the nine traitors and the 2 "unknowns", that's still a lot of Marines.

  • we should know the tyranids will win in the end they will eat every planet there is in the galaxy suck it dry killing everyone in their way but when theirs no more planets to harvest they'll move onto another galaxy but the necrons will come up from under the ground of planets and be the last ones in their galaxy

  • there are a couple of planest with life in wich the necrons are still alive .... but immagine if the tyraninds came...and woke up the necrons...then maybe the entire necron army from everywhere will wake up...tyraninds will get fucked big time...and u know one of the ctan gods scared an entire fleet once...... necrons own <.<

  • thing is that nids are shit scared of necrons and try to avoid them if they can for some reason

  • when tiranids come...al of the hive ships my monney is on the imperium....but necrons have a better chance at killing the nids <.<

  • no he doesant.... enyways the imperium can have a good chance on the nids especialy when the emperor is awaken.... then we start making better tech.... that was humanity only major set back the tech...but when the emperor comes back he will fix everything humanity shall be the only race standing XD.... if by some chance they dont win... the necrons will own the nids lol XD

  • Your last statement is near impossible. the Tyranids dont go for Tombworlds because they see them as already dead. and Necrons don't go for Nids because they are basically soulless. they may tho end up fighting over worlds to harvest. but the Necrons ships are a whole of a lot faster so i doubt it

  • lol my statement is imposible...omg dont be ignorente... in manny MANYY worlds the necrons are a sleep and that planet is populated with lets say humans... we all sa it before.... and the tyranids could come to that planet to harvest thus awaken the necrons... they will battle eather this way or when they will all awake! when necrons awake do u think theyll let tyranids alive to...lol necrons will kill everything as well as tyranids so yes they shall fight

  • the eldar don't really have any planets, they have craftworlds and those are spaceships. and the tyranids are not that easy to stop.

  • if the tyranids attacked the imperium they would all die up in space and even if they managed to get on the planet they would be greatly overpowered and would have a serious case of baneblades up there asses not to mention they would have so many grey knights space marines sisters of battle and imperial guardsmen that after the space battle the tyranids would be outnumberd and to add on the tau and eldar would attempt to eliminate the tyranids before they get to close to their planets

  • You seriously havn't followed the history of the Tyranids at all, have you? XD

  • The thing that will doom the empire is not the sheer size of the main tyranid army but the sheer size of all the red tape they would have to wade through.

Lets just say that a local imperial admistrator figured out that the tyranids are on the way and it was a huge fleet on as scale not seen all the red tape it would take to get any sort of force of any size besieds his meger defenders would be astonishing.

  • A threat the size of the main tyranid would require the entire Empire to mobalize, every ship, man, amored tank, and all space marine chapter would need to moblize. Getting all that to happen would be a feat of legend let alone oganizing them into a effective fighitng force. Even if that was to be done the Empire would rather take a easier route and just plant genestealers on other races planets and let them deal with them. It was in the space marine codex if i remember where it they did it.

  • it was written in the codex astartes(space marine codex if you will)

  • The Emperor shall awaken before a time such as this comes to pass. Glory to the Imperium of Man.

  • I dont understand you people who think that the Imperium will still have a chance.the hive fleets started with 3 main. now they have alot more acording to latest rule book. and you think the hive fleets are just gunna disapear when you kill the local ones? they will just keep coming Most of the main hive fleets probaly havent even entered the galaxy yet.And each fleet has millions of ships!each ship has hundreds of thosands of tyranids and theres brobally billions of unknow fleets out there!

  • Imperium have a lots of chances be cause GW wont destroy space marines be cause they are getting biggest amount of money from them.

  • lol u is right about dat *those over pricing morons*

  • ha for all you tyranid lovers out there i must say that tyranids wont win!!not after the battle of macragge!!not when those abominations met the might of the ultramarines and even though they suffered many losses they didnt give the beasts one step, all they received was cleansing from holy bolter fire and chain/power swords!!in the name of the emporer we will crush all the enimies of mankind!!NOW MY BROTHERS IN THE EMPORERS NAME CHARGE!!

ULTRAMARINES CHARGE!!FOR THE HONOUR OF THE CHAPTER!!!

  • Except the entire first company of Ultramarines were killed of course, and the Ultramarines only survived because the Imperial navy came and saved them.

    Aisde from that... yeah...

  • may holy fire COME DOWN FROM THE SKYES AND PURGEEEEE THESE INFESTATION...smite them smite them alllllllllllllllllllllll for the glory of the emperorrr

  • tbh my opinion is that since the emperor raped the void dragon with late roman weapons he could might aswell rape the hive mind and turn it into shit . Fear and tremble enemies of man for the day of the great hunt , the wolftime will come and The primarchs shall return and with them your worst nightmare. The emperor himself bearing immesurable power and the wrath of 10.000 years

  • in tyranid books, they say that the galaxy probably didn't meet the REAL size of the Great Devourer... yet.

  • well if you really think about it. tyrinids always atack in HUGE armies. even bigger then the imperial guards or the orks. so, i mean, if they have a bunch of guants and huge monsters and all the shit they use. i doubt theyre going to lose that fast haha

  • tyranids wont wipe everything out because

A their ships are slow as fuck and each tim they wipe out a star system by the time they get back life has started again

and B because the space marines would kick their arse if you dont belive me read about the battle for Mcragge (a tragic loss for my chapter)

  • the tau would be the first to get destroyed

  • is this a real game or an animation?? didnt say in Discription

  • animation :)

  • tyranaids will inevtiable lose cuz =P:

Greenskins can be created almost as fast as them

powers of warp cant be destroyed

if Earth is about to get owned then the god emperor would most likely wake up and start blowing stuff up >.>

Eldar would probably just let everyone else fite instead of fiting themselves =D

and necrons prob wouldnt hav much trouble killing em

  • ok seriously if this ever happened ever mother fucking imperial guard and space marine would fall back to terra so fast the navigators would go insane from seeing so much warp. also lols to the suffer not the asshole to live

  • Not bad, I like it :)

  • omg never do another video if you want to save yourself from angry tyranid players

  • Suffer not the asshole to live.

  • Laughing my power armour off to that comment!

  • Actually if you have a look at the actual minis of Tyranid ships in the Battlefleet Gothic page of the Specialist Games section on GW's site you will notice I modelled my ships on the 'nid ships from there.

  • For God's sake... read a damn 40k book...

'Warriors of Ultramar' - Graham McNeill

That book contains several VIVIDLY DETAILED space battles between the Imperium and the Tyranids... culminating into a boarding effort by the Deathwatch against a Hive ship... it describes all of the Tyranid ships... kraken, etc... AND THEY ARE LIKE THEY ARE IN THIS VIDEO!

So Jesus, don't try look all authorative if GW-sanctioned lore is contrary ¬_¬

  • are you fucking retarded? have you ever read a real 40k tyranid book? if not stop talking and either go read one or blow your head off. either way youd be doing us a favor

  • God cant someone have a view these days.

  • but, even if a basic civilian could kill a tyranid with a rifle, there are all sorts of different types of tyranids, like some that can have rifles not effect them, and some that can burrow underground and open up ways for the tyranids to get behind enemy lines

so yes, a civilan could kill a normal tyranid with a rifle, but they would be gradually overwelmed but different types of tyranids and there tactics

  • 2:28 someone get a commissar and shoot the fucking captain

  • that fucking coward...come back and fight....he left his brothers in a fight...bastard

  • i think the old ones had something to do with the tyranids

  • it's eve-online "lite", looks pretty cool

  • The Eldar are a flicker race for the Imperium.

They are to mighty to be crushed, their weapons are far more superior than the one the Imperium of Mankind uses, since they still remember how to make the awesome guns.

The Imperium and The Eldar have indeed been having Alliances, and the same with the Tau and IOM, but all have been temporarly, since mankind fear the Xenos.

When and Eldar fleet shows up, THe Imperium never knows how to react, have they come to help them in a fight against Chaos?

  • Or are they there to wipe the entire planet out to deny the Tyranids important Bie-mass...?

  • The Eldar are a small and dying race. They used to be mighty, but not anymore. They don't have the numbers or firepower to take on the Imperium.

  • No, but they may still be a pain in the arse for the dying Imperium of a dead Emperor.

  • well you'd think the etherals would be the psychic ones but anyways all around if they joined forces they could possibly bring peace to most systems. But i kinda wish the space marines weren't so evil they barely care if they're troops die :P

  • I don't know about evil, but they can be ruthless. In a galaxy of war, sometimes you got to step over your friend's mangled, bloody corpse and keep advancing with guns blazing. Death is like a constant companion for them.

  • what is the song

  • do you have this in a game mod yet?? if so , which game..

you have done very well with this.

i give you 6 out of 5 stars.. and yes i know there are only 5 stars, but i give one more cause i can

  • novels.

    video game plots.

    books.

    codexes.

    artwork.

who gives a shit? Its a tabletop game and now a pc game.

Only the best players win, end of convo =]

  • ya but theres books and a story line and as happens wih things wtih storyline people like 2 expand on them themselves im sure uve watched a program on tv or played a videogame nd thought about how sumthin appened so stop bein a dick nd let people discuss this stuff

  • what program did you use to make this?

  • 3DS MAX

  • tiranids would have gone booooooooooom

  • Whats the NEW song?

  • For chaos to be truely destoryed, Humankind must die first because chaos feeds off human emotions, like fear and anger. Therefore you cant really beat chaos.

  • The powers of Chaos will stand strong for all time!

  • Maybe, but never strong enough.

  • Chaos suck! I mean com'on they wership a giant Chicken!

  • The powers of chaos are fickle, and will betray their own on a whim.

  • sweet!!!!

  • in the end all thats gonna be left in the end is chaos (since daemons are immortal), tyranids (due to innumerable numbers in other galaxys) and possibly necrons (since they dont seem to die and cant be absorbed by nids) everyone one else is screwed, am i right?

  • Not really I thank this: Man, Tau And eldar will win Because as you know they are what is known as The forces of ORDER and hve been seen fight togther many tims. So my idea is: eldar and the Imperium Enter the warp and do some BFS (Big Fucking Spell!) Coz there pyic races. and the Tau Do a Conter Strike.

secend Idea tau clim aboud all the Hive fleets and plat C4 and poff gose the xenos

  • Please learn to spell. Every word had some type of error in it.

  • I was'nt Really looking at the Screen at the time. :( OMG ur Right!

  • if the tau, eldar and imperium joined forces they could most likely destroy most chaos and tyranid forces and if the most powerful etherals and farseers helped the empeor keep the deamons at bay with their psychic abilities they're would be no more chaos :D(p.s. only played a bit of warhammer 40k feel free to correct me)

  • Etherals are not Psyhic! But yes, thats what I'm trying to say

  • Correction: There have been some Temporary alliances between Imperial Forces and Eldar, but never Permanent because they all end in Betrayal, sorry, never gonna happen.

  • Well I have other concept. Tyranids will NEVER win, cause they give absolutely nothing to the background of Games Workshop company. Tyranids are justy hungry meat running arround and zerging shit till death. While about Eldar, Space Marines, Imperial Guard, you can write novels, make codexes, make long interesting video game plots. Its a huge market, while Tyranids gives you nothing. It's just huge space shrimps running around the space for no reason.

  • There is no novel to write about Tyranids, not much artworks you can do as they have no culture or interesting history full of plots, there is no way you can make any non-repetitive game scenario... only same old: Go there! And Eat shit!

Tyranids are just a mass of space-shrimps that has nothing else to offer.

  • Only way to expand on 'nids IMHO is to explore their past and who bio-engineered them. Origin stories kinda thing.

  • Your right! And anyway all you need to do to kill the Bastad is kill the Mind hive and Norm Queen and their nothing more then a few lizids running for their lives!

  • tyranids will destroy all planets except the few with necrons then necrons will win because they are literally death

C'tan are death so you can't kill them

well second place is fine for me GO NIDS!

anyone who questions me on why I like tyranids please refer to the conversions page on the tyranid codex

god that imperial guardsman looks f*cking scared

  • thats completely false...yes daemons are immortal but they cant do anything in real space unless they are summoned. there are a few that just come back without sumoning but they arent powerful enough to do anything. All u need to do for tyranids is kill the hive mind andboom, all gone. Necrons are the only ones who have a chance, but they need to be awakened todo anything and the Eldar know how to stop them. plus a few bolter shells to the face and they go down just like the rest.

  • Right.... kill the Hive Mind? The Hive Mind isn't a single creature, its the gestalt consciousness of the entire Tyranid race. To kill the Hive Mind, you would have to kill every Tyranid in existence. Good luck with that....

  • actually the hive mind is conected to every tyranid is existence...it isint all of them. the Hive Mind is located on a planet and it takes up most of the planet. either way an exterminatus/cyclonic torpedoes or the tau cannon that "cleanses" planets would destroy it and there would be mindless tyranids killing eachother everywhere. You cannot beat the Imperium of Man.

  • Where the hell did you get that idea? Show me one source, any source at all, that backs up your theory. The codex, the rulebook and a number of novels all say that the Hive Mind isn't an actual physical creature.

  • It's a Hive MIND. Oh, there it was. MIND. Again? MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND

    There is your explanation.

  • Arquir, Optix334 most likely thought that the Tyranids were like Zerg, the Overmind in on a planet, but the Nid Hive mind is every creature, and if it was physical, it is in the Nid controlled galaxy(no one knos where it's at and no one's been there)

  • The hive mind's planet is not even in this galaxy.who knows how many myriad systems away the planet is located.

The tyranids is the most powerfull because they can always adapt and they wouldnt live for so long if they cant beat every enemy in their own galaxy, plus they always "recycle"their army. The tyranids are not a a force what can be defeated but a constant threat what can only be halted.

  • doesn't matter...as long as they can be defended against they will eventually be killed. it will take many many millenia, but the hive mind will be found and, subsequently purged, just like the rest of the stupid lizards.

  • Yea good luck defending against a Tyranid Hive Fleet. You do realize that a single Tyranid scout fleet can have trillions of ships and hundreds of trillions of ground troops....

They will most likely consume everything in the Milky Way galaxy just like they did to the last few galaxies.

  • and i doubt highly that a scout has trillions of ships...that defeats the purpose of scouts and gives the defender a chance to prepare when they go down. that strategy is really flawed
