@trainlover479 Yeah...it's abandoned. The tracks were all tore up on the other side of the bridge then....they tore up the rest of the tracks this past year.
you should go to England and visit plymouth its got 2 train tunnels that are really long and dark =) people randomly call it darkies, its not bad and quite an adrenelin rush if you go at night as you gota go thru some random plants and bushes and stuff
They don't look like they are totally unused as the rust on top looks fresher by the lighter color. We have some around me that are used very rarely but do get used.
Nah, the tracks were torn out further up, on the other side of the bridge. The tracks are torn out now completely :( the bridge is still there, but it's not the same.
haha ya he raelly is avoiding telling ppl where it is. and it might be a big deal to people kuz they might like railroad history like this and might wana get more info on it, but its hard if you dont know where it is eh? lol anyways cool video.
this video is old i can tell because they cleaned up the debre inside the tunnel and layed down concerte .. ps my dads got the key to the gates at the tunnel
It's a train tunnel near where I live. It's not used anymore; the tracks are all torn up once you get into the woods on the other side. It's nice that we can go hang out there once in a while.
I'd appreciate if you could message me the location of this tunnel so I could check it out.

You are still trespassing. Even though they are abandoned they are still owned by a railroad. cool video though.

I love train tracks, esp ones that cut through dense vegetation. It's so beautiful to look through this tunnel of nature.

@krimsonsky00 The tracks are not legally "abandoned", they are still owned by the railroad. FYI.

Awesome tunnel. Is it the Western and Atlantic Railroad's "Tunnel Hill" in Georgia? Or another one?
guess you didn't read that one eh?
i think it's in pennsylvania somewhere
JJGeneral1 4 years ago
No, it's not Georgia.
It's not a big deal where it is. Heh...It's just an old, unused train tunnel that's falling apart.

Precisely. I actually tried using google earth to locate the rail line and make a virtual railroad.

There are probably many unused train tunnels found on the East coast in the hilly regions.
