@kronic12344 hey kid its minidv, so you should know that this isn't your little camcorder. You have to use a firewire and record the footy to your computer.

dont buy it i had one i had a few problems with the mechanism is not even hd buy the new cannon 7d more affordable lenses are also more affordable and the image is alot better it was almost impossible to contact panasonic when i had a question

@LegacySkateboarder brah, it should be the same as any mini dv system, i used a canon gl2 and it takes firewire, so id rip my tapes onto my editing system when i would import my shit from the camera. you shouldnt rip from your main cam, liek a vx, i guess it fucks the heads, but get a capture cam and plug it in to your computer, the mini dv will get read and the footage imported onto you comp/editing system. open your software and explore it, im sure theres a window for importing.

The 100A added a bunch of new features and settings to the original 100, as well as fixed a couple of bugs. The 100B added RoHS compliance, Improved the LCD and EVF, and added 16:9 mode.
