This is my favorite version of "All I Really Want To Do" by The Byrds. This was back in the day when rock groups wrote songs that made sense. Wish today's music could be this good.
On their first tour of the UK. The promoter billed them as 'America's answer to The Beatles' which McGuinn said was like being billed as America's answer to the queen.
They didn't go down very well but they met Ringo......
everyone trying to be the Beatles and if not then the stones
it was really cool
there are always a few "moments" that everything just aligns perfectly
its different for different people but when it happens its great if you cna recognize it at that moment and then ironic, that conscienceness of that moment kind of stops the moment but it is what it is
Ah, now you mustn't have been around in Britain in the 60s, otherwise you would know that this is DJ Jimmy Savile, and that being strange and having weird hairstyles were his trade marks (among other things ;-)
He is also famous for being a bit of a recluse, and for having done a lot of work for charity, including doing voluntary work in his local hospital for many years, I believe.
I have found another great 1960's band....
<3.

When I first saw this clip many years ago, I thought the drummer was Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones and he was moonlighting for The Byrds :-)
