  • ill bet that kangaroo gets creamed in the face on a daily basis in the dimly lit alley behind the liquor store

  • Dunkaroos: Sydney (1993) / PBS 36 CILP ON WGVU.avi

  • I remember trying to find these and the Koala Yummies at the store when I stayed with my grandparents in Alabama. Couldn't find either. I was royally pissed. Couldn't find them near home, either.

  • I thought kangaroos were awesome so of course I had to get these.

  • I never had these but always wanted to buy them when I passed them at the stores in the 90s. Ended up seeing a box at the Dollar Store like a year ago...still never bought it haha

  • anyone remember a salad dressing for kids that was either pizza, cheeseburger or cheese flavor? aaaah... or or or... those oat meals that have the fruit glaze from the little packets. what the hell happened to delicious food?!?!

  • I'm not from I'm from USA, and I remember buying Dunkaroos when I was 5. Are Dunkaroos still available?

  • @breanntheartist1989 yeah they are hard to find though. ive heard about wallmarts costgos and some dollar stores having em

  • @breanntheartist1989 Yes. Here in Mass. I found both vanilla and chocolate flavors.

  • I used to eat that. I miss the food of the 90's.

  • thats 1 thing i never had the opportunity to try as a kid :*/ ehh well...

  • @SweetBrwnSuga you didnt miss out on much

  • i ate theese when i was a small boy =) good times everytime i went on the train with my mom i bought like 3 of them to eat

  • GINGER WITH A BOWL CUT!!!

  • I never ate dunkaroos and yet I never forgot this jingle

  • Damn these snacks were the shit when i was growing up. I didnt care too much for the vanilla frosting dunkaroos though. The chocolate ones are still my favorite. Might have to relive the childhood by buying a box. Found a 24 variety pack on amazon for $20

  • I loved those things, but my mom never bought them for me.

  • When ya grow older there are certain things, events, songs, commercials, and just random shit that stays with you. And this song from the original Dunkaroos commercial is one of them. My wife was pregnant last yr and she used to make me get these for her. I ate a package and it was a total blast from the past. Right away I though of that Australian Kangaroo. DUNKAROOS DUNKAROOS YA DONT JUST EAT YA DUNKAROOS...

  • finally i watched that commercial that i remember when i was a kid i use 2 to have those back them they so delisious ans hell i even grew up with that song THANK U

  • God, I fucking loved these back when i was a kid in the 90s. Arguably the best snack ever made. Some supermarkets still carry them, i just saw the cinnamon cookies and vanilla sprinkle ones at Food Town. I'm gonna go buy them and enjoy them again! there was also a cookies 'n creme Dunkaroos, with chocolate cookies and vanilla creme without sprinkles. Anybody rememeber them as well?

  • the have the vanilla ones at dollar general stores in NC...my kids are eating them right now!!! i pulled this up to show them that they are eating a snack that their mom enjoyed as a kid.

  • I remember these ads. Hmm, what did Sydney do after he was laid off after these ads ended? He got a job at Outback Steak House! :)

  • I remember Dunkaroos as if they only came from yesterday.

  • Now available for purchase at Amazon.

  • thank goodness that kangaroo was a stereotype or els i would never knew what nationality he was. XD

  • I remember when this commercial first aired, looking all over the place for them. Those and the other Aussie animal-themed snacks, Koala Yummies. I couldn't find either one where I lived, or near where my grandparents lived.

  • I FOUND IT! Thanks...

  • I've always wanted to know what that kangaroo would look like animated, much more, what he would do. I wonder though, is Dunk, from the Dunkaroos package, Sydney's son, cusin, nephew, or are the two related at all?

  • Oh Lord! Now I remember that commercial. The 'roo is cool.

  • Haven't seen this commercial in decades.

  • This song really bugged me in high school - my nickname was Roo and when this jingle came out around the same time, people used to sing this to rile me - sigh, what memories :D

  • this commercial brings back memories since when i was 9 going on 10. lol

  • Why do cartoon characters cover their crotches in embarrassing moments - even though they're not wearing any pants to start with?

  • according to wikipedia, john cameron mitchell voiced syndey, if you don't know who he is search for hedwig and the angry inch

  • the best snack, i just finished eating one i was so bored i typed it in the search haha notice the black kid got the chocolate icing

  • Meh, I more noticed what an Austrailian steryotype Sydney was.

  • I was JUST eating some Dunks... haha! Me and my friends are still obsessed with them. They sell them at Shaws and Hannaford in the cookie isle.

  • I remember this. I loved it!

  • and to think the same person who played the voice of that wonderful little kangaroo grew up to play a rock star transvestite from east berlin (in me favortite movie, by the way)

  • WOOOO HOOOOO! My favorite movie/musical in the entire world too, etenararcadia. John Cameron Mitchell is my personal hero and inspiration. :)

  • i used to love these things LOL!

  • Are Dunkaroos still made by General Mills but in limited areas?

  • NICE* this is the real commercial for Dunkaroos! I love them!

  • HELL YES!!! this was the OG commercial!
