  • Neo-medieval.

  • Hi there! Heh, heh! Have been there too and saw that group in action. Not sure how that kind of music can be called. I tend to say "Mittelalterliche Marktmusik" though, some call it medieval folk or medieval pop. But.... that music has nothing to do with medieval music, while the instruments might be traditional (along with the tones sometimes) the interpretation of it is not at all.

Corvus Corax and In Extremo however (saw them both live :D) are well known.

  • Yeah...that's NOT Corvus Corax, but they use similar instruments, therefore I can understand why you would say that.

  • If I'm not mistaken I think it's Corvus Corox who's playing that... Kind of medieval folkmetal...

  • it's not corvus corax, but rather another music group that follows a similar route and plays similar music, but still awesome!

  • The music & instrumentation is overwelmingly Medieval. In the Middle Ages the bag-pipe was a common European instrument, not just limited tto the Celtic fringe. These guys do look look like crusties though.

Did you manage to get the name of this group. Check out vids of AbInferis, Sandsacks and In Extremo for similar musical treats.

  • ! muy bueno ! aunque poco.

  • cool

  • I had to dance to this in school... ugh :-(

  • thats awesome! hahaha
