  • awesome video.. i have a quetion though.. i have a plant like this but it isnt duble headed.. its just one really skinny tall one... i have had it for 6 or 7 years and it hasnt really changed much.. how would i get this plant to be as thick as yours? and to grow a new one, do i just cut the top off and stick it in water?

  • what's the song in this video?

  • Philip Glass - Metamorphosis 4 or 5

  • See our video at icandevelopment to understand how to grow people not plants!

  • it takes forever but it's worth the wait =) great job

  • suprisingly cheap plants

  • i got a golden dragon tree but is grown more than that .. i got it yesterday :P

  • i feel like time is going to by sooo fast

  • O damn! That took four months !? Wow

  • this is awesome

  • and rawesome

  • Yep, you can tell that the bud that didn't make it was higher up on the stem than the other 2 buds, meaning they robbed it of water and nutrients. It should stay dormant and if the 2 growths are killed off then it should spring into life. Good job!!!

  • that was awesome!

  • Good job!

  • Good job!

  • This is superb....wow....you have lots of patience....it would awesome if you could do same process with a flower blooming...that would also be cool....

  • how long did that take and did u take a shot every day?

  • Great video!

  • I wish is was longer! but very cool, thanks for posting.

  • awesome stuff!

  • It looks so smooth.

  • Cool. I don't have the patience for this.

  • That is fantastic. Can you tell me what camera and software you use?

  • Cheers cybercab. The camera is nothing special: a Konica-Minolta Dimage A2. I shot all the frames manually, then re-registered them all by hand in Photoshop so that they lined up properly. Then I imported them all into Windows Movie Maker, gave them 0.1 second each and added a soundtrack. There are probably much better ways to do it than this. :-)

  • Wow, that must have taken forever. Great job though.

  • Wow, this is awesome, i got one dragon tree of my own but died from winter frost, but i still kept it...hoping it'll regrow after all these days of caring for a "dead" plant :(

  • Thanks wqipinoy. This one actually got badly scorched from being out in the sun too long, so I pruned it and got to film it coming back to life. :-)

  • You should do another one, except even longer. Maybe you're in the process right now...

  • I agree it's a bit short, but nothing much else was going to happen within the frame of the shot. Maybe I'll try something else, like a sky scene, which doesn't take so long to record.

  • this is super cool!!!!

  • Thanks. Glad you like it. :-)

  • OK just read the description - 4 months - It was at the top of the screen and it was so far away!!LOL

  • I know. I never look there either. :-)

  • COOL! How long did that take to film??
