Kids was such a big deal in New York, I remember when everyone hung out with these kids. Anyways. I agree with the no moral stand point. You take it for what it is, I wish most films were that way.

What no one ever realized at the time is how interactive with NY this movie was. Larry got to know the city and the kids very well it shows in how the film turned out with such an initimate viewing position for whoever was watching.

The shots are all equally beautiful, storyline.everything perfect

But I Loved Jenny in this movie and felt really bad about it .

Bad thing about the movie...the moral aspect didn't work out. The film became a "handbook" on how to get hooked on drugs and the rest of it.

Once you find out that Clark's background is in photography, it makes sense why the set-up of the shots in this film is so amazing. When you're young and you watch it, it's pure shock, but as you get older, you really start to appreciate the pure artistry of "Kids."
