Well, the hand bit is easy to fix. In fact, almost anything plastic can be warped and bent to your liking.
Just take a blow dryer and heat up the hand for about 30 seconds (20 or 30 depending on the heat of the dryer) and once it's good and "rubbery" bend the hand inwards as if making a fist and hold it while you run it under very cold water from a fountain or sink.
That should fix it. Although, I've noticed every now and then, you have to do it a couple times.
Take some superglue and dab just a little on the peg that attaches to the jetpack to the figure and let it dry for a bit. After that, apply the jetpack and it should stay on relatively well.
However, you will probably need to do this a couple of times, as you more than likely won't get the right fit the first time around. I'd also suggest applying the glue in moderation... just a tad bit at a time.
I got this one, as well as the regular Darth Vader with 2 piece helmet at Target yesterday. Both figures are some of the best Star Wars figure's I've owned. Some really great articulation and detail. Neither were first day editions so I opened em.
lol, i got the two piece helmet vader but can't find the battle damaged one! i got a loose one though off ebay! ever notice how the bd darth vader was in the 30th anniversary line but they re-released it! i know what you mean about hasbro being money whores!
Yeah, Hasbro definitely likes to do rehashes for a quick buck. The thing about rehashes though, if you're going to do them... improve upon them a little. Hasbro doesn't even do that much. They literally give you the same figure.
Yeah, I was actually thinking as I posted this review that I'd seen some type of battle-damaged Vader not too long ago. And sure enough, when I went to check, I right, lol. They're practically the same figure.
Oh well. The line really does have a lot of new figures though and I've only really been able to point out a few rehashes here and there. Not as many as they've done before though.
Damn, I was trying to ignore this line because i like buying stuff way too much. Now im regretting it. I doubt that any store will have a 1st edition anything. Well now our wallets can cry together : (
y is it a review if u dont review it! >=(

I pinched the post on mine with pliers and stuffed it into the port. After a little while, the PVC expanded and fit.

Yeah, I was just at Walmart not 40 minutes ago and there's NO 1st anything's left. Wow.
Target might still have some, but they won't last long.
I am starting to like Hasbro again. I just hope they don't go and blow it.
