@EatingChannel Actually Irreversible is easily the most artistically viable film on the list. It was shown in competition at Cannes and became something of a cause celebre. Personally I don't like it that much, not because I have a problem with the violence or the morality, as it's inherently a pretty moral film due to it's narrative structure. The rape scene and the fire extinquisher scenes are pretty grim, but it's certainly a better film than most of the trash on thos list.

Otherwise you've got a morally bankrupt film. It's not a horror film and there's only two scenes of violence. I listed the movie because, it deserves to be called one of the sickest movies ever made since it involves real people being killed on camera. Another movie that's real is, Orozco the embalmer. It shows Orozco preparing the bodies of people for burial. One scene I've heard that is particularly messed up involves a baby.

I can't believe people would find Ichi The Killer sick it's so over the top that it's funny. A Serbian Film.
@Mariordz88 Lots of these "shock" movies are boring. It's because they're not very well put together. The only good things about these films are their shocking moments but, when nothing shocking is happening you really get to see how bad the acting and the writing for these films are.

Also this is not a really sick movie like Salo or August Undergrounds Mordom but it is a lot worse then the Human Centipede. If you can handle that movie then try Cannibal Holocaust which Netflix has and it's in English. If you don't have Netflix you can sign up for free for a month.

I wouldn't say Irreversible is a sick film. I mean, there's sick things in it, sure, but it's actually a really smart film, whereas the majority of the other films on this list are just naff shockers (with the exception of Salo and possibly Ichi The Killer). also, Mordum is absolute pish

@csmcmillion I believe the "sickest" in this list is referring strictly to gore. Especially since Ichi the Killer is on the list and that isn't really horror or disturbing, just lots of gore.
However A Serbian Film is more silly than disturbing.
Personally, I think the most disturbing movie, more disturbing than Serbian Film, August Underground, or any of the Asian movies; is The Poughkeepsie Tapes.

@larsattack I know it's horrible to watch something like that but it's a documentary about Africa. I listed the movie because, it deserves to be called one of the sickest movies ever made since it involves real people being killed on camera. Another movie that's real is, Orozco the embalmer. It shows Orozco preparing the bodies of people for burial. One scene I've heard that is particularly messed up involves a baby.

The rape scene in Irreversible isn't that bad I have seen far worse. All it is, is a man on top of a woman telling her how good her pussy feels. I'm sorry you don't see thrusting or penetration and it's not a violent rape scene it's a guy raping a woman slowly but again you don't even see thrusting. I think a lot of people haven't seen really fucked up shit and this was the first real sick thing they have seen. There's more brutal rape in Murder Set Pieces and that's not even that bad.

Okay People, Don't be misled on Murder Set Pieces. It is really disturbing but the version that's shown is the cut version. Look for the unrated one that has a different cover. I can't believe people would find Ichi The Killer sick it's so over the top that it's funny. @makemebad451000 You must be new to these kinds of movies. Tell you what, go to Netflix and watch Jin Won Kim's The Butcher. It is a foreign movie but there isn't that many lines of dialogue in it. Also this is not a really sick movie like Salo or August Undergrounds Mordom but it is a lot worse then the Human Centipede. If you can handle that movie then try Cannibal Holocaust which Netflix has and it's in English. If you don't have Netflix you can sign up for free for a month.
