That is almost true when josua was gonna kill him the other guy shot him and juosha is still not.The composer Mr hokoma is josua thought he he killed him so he made a deal with mr H to be even and when neku almost got erased josua saved neku and since mr h is the composer he let beat,shiki,ryme, and joushua get a second chace since neku learned to trust and had real friends for the first time.

He then they all became friends in the end.

The part with the guns was that it was another "game" though im not sure where joshua hit neku, but yeah, he went through the reapers game again, since he lost the game in the week with Beat, so he was allowed his chance of a second chance. Being good or bad, its hard to say, since he was tring to destroy shibuya technically, but it would have been remade.
