  • A super Scary Approach D:

  • ok dude could u tell me the name of the ATC Software that u are using

    ?

  • @tysontube290 Default ATC. Accelerated by editvoicepak and then a post production edit of the FS Capt voice...replaced by my own spoken through a walkie talkie.

  • @edetroit

    cool man

  • i have heared that you made the panel by yourself, how?

  • @wisnu1231 The panel is essentially the PMDG 737.

  • Where did you get the aircraft?

  • @Matty297 This aircraft is too old now... what you need is the IFLY 737.

  • @edetroit YH that's the problem I have X not 2004, nice video anywayz thanks for the reply.

  • is it 737-700 or 737-800

  • @wisnu1231 Looks like a 737-700 to me.

  • @edetroit yes, it's a 737-700 !

    great vid !!!

  • nice job

  • is this fsx?

  • @Ironwoman92 No, it is FS9

  • What their videos are the best in youtube, get me out a doubt.

Where do I download this panel? I found it perfect and I really want to have him on my simulator, I help?

  • It looks more realistic than fsx...

  • Hi ed! can u tell me what scenery you used for this video? Thanks :-)

  • @robertbobby12 This scenery is freeware......but I would recommend the pay ware Toncontin at simmarket by Latin VFR

  • @edetroit great ed thanks for your help :-)

  • qué addon utilizaste para colocar los edificios?

  • where did you download that plane ???

  • What Software is The ATC ???!!! please Tell me Thanks !!! i WANT IT!

  • Which tool did you use for the camera views, following and zoom view ?!

    Looks great !

  • How did you get the RNAV Waypoints into the GPS? Thanks for any help.

  • You mean the PMDG FMS or FS ATC?

  • PMDG FMS / GPS. I am wondering if there is a chance to download the approach route and add it to the gps.

  • Well I fiddle with my FS so much I have trouble remembering what I have done .lol

But I think if you have the latest Navdata update for the PMDG

    The approach should be there.

  • This is Xplane :)

  • Th terrain looks similar but not its one of the Microsoft Flight simulator series. Most likely FS9... but i Wouldn't know as I'm an X-Plane user.

  • Of course it is not X-Plane. It is FS2004

  • What's that bing bong sound at 2:56?

  • how do you record your flights? what do you use?

  • Fraps for video capture.....FS Recorder for replay

  • @edetroit How much is Fraps?

  • google Fraps and find out.

  • I want your cockpit textures for the PMDG :o Mine is default :d ugly :d

And i don't understand how you can combine default ATC with such planes as PMDG; they don't use waypoints and sids or stars .. .?

  • wats ur specs???

  • nice landing

  • what planes that and where did you get it from??

  • i thought i saw missing gauges in the co-pilot gauges at 0:40

  • I would guess that at this stage of the panel's development I had not made the forward right view's gauges.

  • Hi Ed, very cool video. Which Delta paint are you using in this video? It looks good.

  • wow bro. that is a ver nice video....that is a pmdg ???/ and that is fdc live cockpit??

  • It is the PMDG ...no FDC live

  • Can you please tell me or show me where did you get that texture for the default pmdg, it is a wonderful texture that you have, also another question, Can you please tell me how to put the Cabin Camera with the window viewing the engine, I don´t know how to do it in FS2004, thanks and great video!

  • hi, i realise when you reply to the atc i hear a different voice...how did you do that?

  • I edited out the FS Captain's voice and replaced it with my own post production

  • amazin

  • example 0:51 seconds

  • edetroit, pls can you tell me how you use real photographs from real plane and use them on your panels? Thanks

  • WOW MAN. you got skills mate. And awesome landing.

  • Nice, how do you get the windowframe shaking? You edited the frame with adobe or is it in the panel and gauge controlled?

  • Gauge controlled

  • HEy man BEAUTIFUL video as always but i was wondering if you could help me out, i am working my way up through youtube and i would love to know a flight request from you, i seem to be running out of ideas. So if you can't that is perfectly fine, thanks for your time. I will continue watching, as always

    ymmjR1221

  • please please please X10000000000000 keep all these vid up like i mean do it more often:)

    UR AWESOME!!!!:D

  • Awsome video!!!!!! What computer are you using and how do you get the altitude callouts and the cabin voices??

    Ray K

  • Hey Ed i cant seem to pushback left or right using shift+P+1 or shift+p+2, is there any changes i have to make in my FS settings.

    Thanks

  • You must stay in the same view during pushback (cockpit/VC/Spot/Tower)

I would get AES....far superiour pushback.

  • Hi Ed does AES support UK2000 Gatwick extreme?

  • Not yet....but it is planned. I personally am very keen to see AES for LGW.

  • couldn't agree more, It would be my number 1 on the list. There is a lot on this topic at the AES forums there are several different stories, but I don't know what to believe now...

  • Hi Ed does FS Recorder record AES(pushback truck) etc.

  • No but it not hard to video. The best bit being you know your aircraft will be pushed back to the perfect position so you can concentrate on more important things...like starting your engines and videoing the event.

  • Thanks Ed.

  • Dude, where do you get your charts...?

  • nice

  • Pretty Hairy ED!!!

  • Great video !!!

please can you do an Airbus A320 flight, i've only seen one of your airbus flights :)

also where did you get that good wind sound

    thanks

    Matt

  • What traffic do you use amazing graphics what are your specs ?

  • hey, super!! 5* minimuum

    hihi, Thanks Kay

  • You could fly from Belfastto Toronto?

  • I love your videos.

but... how can you talk with the ATC, and it sounds different. they say alot of different things (:

that nice. how can you do that?

  • Now that's an example of perfect airmanship... I can see you can handle modern jetliners as well ;)

  • Awesome approach. Well done! Great scenery, where did you get that from? And where do you find all these approach plates?

  • nice!

  • Hi ed just wondering how do you avoid your panel to stretch in fsim. Nice vid btw

  • I have a very nice 4:3 ratio monitor (1600 x 1200) that's how.

Three modern developments I do not like.

    Vista,FSX and wide screen monitors.

If you like 2D panels as I do....not only does FSX not support them but the 4:3 ratio is the best.

  • hello i have recently purchased flight sim 2004 and i was wondering how your raohics are that good

and do you have any decent websites to get add ons i.e payware or free ware

    any thanks joe

    do you play online ??

  • Hey! Sweet landing and video!

Adds alot of realism to fs.

Where did you get that scenery?

  • really nice! beautiful!

just one question, where did you get the sound?

    thx a lot!

  • There are lots of sounds in this video.......which one are you referring to?

  • the engine soud and the GPWS.

  • The author of the engine sound is Des Braban (the roll sound in this set has been changed by me for a cabin rattle sound)

The GPWS sounds have been updated by some real recordings some kind chap sent to me.

.......as you can see I fiddle with everything in FS it is hard to keep track of what I have done! lol

  • Amazing video, as usual, Ed. Quick question, I noticed that the AI sounds actually lifelike. Was that done post-production or is there a swap for the .wav file?

  • The AI sounds are default

  • No kidding? Sounds different than mine. I must have installed some different file. Oh well, thanks for the info. Again, great vid!

  • Is this payware scenery looks great?

  • Freeware. I gave the names of the files you need in earlier comments

  • Beautiful approach! 5/5

  • Where you got the Delta callsign (from the ATC)??

  • You don't have the Delta callsign?...you should have. If not get editvoicepak.

  • i felt a bump there

  • No autoland at that airport! Strong work, Ed. Thanks also for the tip about that airport scenery - it's very well done.

  • Thankyou John, I really enjoyed flying this approach.

  • How did you get the PMDG FMC to do Radius to fix legs for the approach? Did you totally redesign it or what?

  • Nope the RNAV Rwy 02 approach was in the FMC. I simply selected it.

  • Well then the "default" PMDG 737 can't do RF legs so....... Either way, that is one neat approach.

  • I love Toncontin airport! Great video and an awesome approach!

  • 5/5 by the way

  • Aamazing approach ! good pilot ! 5*

  • Yet again you have created a fantastic video showing amazing flying skills, creativity and a sexy panel :P.

Whats happened to the european flights :(? lol.

    5 stars as usual.

  • Thankyou, my next flight will depart from Belfast EGAA......not sure of the destination yet.

  • what about Caracas !! :D

  • What about Santos Dumont?

  • Where do u gt the sounds from or is it your voice ?

  • You are awesome, modifying panels ed :) I love your videos. Keep em coming :)

  • Definitely the best video of yours so far.

    Cheers from New York!

  • Great as always man ! ! !

  • Awesome

  • I know that It may be a bit pestering but I would love it if you did an American Airlines Boeing 757 from Orkando INTL - Miami INTL, it's about 40 mins, Iwould love it if you did it,

    Thanks, Ben

  • WOW that is all i can say to all of your videos, i know you might be very busy at the moment i was just wondering if you could make a Thomsonfly video with the 757-200 or evan the 767-300ER. It would be very special basicly because now that Thomsonfly have gone and been replace by Thomson Airways but because they are getting rid of all their 757's and 767's soon and it would be very sad to see a great airline go down without a goodbye, thankyou and i hope im not anoying you lol, thanks Ed :)

  • ill do it for you if yyou want

  • Thomson Airways dont have any plans to get rid of there 757's and 767's

The only aircrafts that are currently in jepordy is the A320's and the 737-300.

However soon will be the arrival of the new 787 (horrible if you ask me) so we will see then which aircrafts they decide to get rid of. Like I said I think they are keeping the 737-300 until end of summer (I think) not unless the 787 is postponed AGAIN meaning they would carry on with the 737-300.

  • FCA were going to reitre a 767 everytime they got a 787, however now as they have merged with thomson I don't know what the new plan is

  • sweet landing! For a moment I thought that was impossible. Crosswinds FTW!

  • hey mate really nice video i enjoyed it

just wondering how do you make the yoke appear while you are in the 2D cockpit? thanks

  • This is not a standard PMDG cockpit....but one that has been through Ed's panel shop. It has a lot of added extras...and the moving yoke is one.

  • ohh ok then is it up for download?

thanks for the quick reply : )

  • No it is not.

  • okay no worries mate. thanks for that : )

are you taking suggestions for videos?

  • nice vid :) is this the pmdg 737 ? and active camera ?

  • It is the Pimgee 737...but no Active camera.

  • How come it shakes then ?

  • It is a post-production motion effect by NewBluefx (a plug-in for Sony Vegas)

  • thanks brah

  • And is this wilco PIC

  • Definitely not. This is a modified PMDG 737

  • okay

  • Whe you re-play the landing from outside, do you do it with the replay option in the sim? if yes, how do you make the traffic appear again in the replay mode?

I alwayr enjoy your videos, you do such a very high quality work.

Also, how do you manage to add your voice to the ATC? :)

  • Never use the def FS replay for replay. FS Recorder is the only way.

I could choose to record the AI as well but I don't.... If I need them to reset I just turn the clock back by 10mins or by whatever is needed and wait for them to be in the correct position..

I replace the FS Captain's voice with my own post-production.

  • I think he used EditVoicepack for that one; I'm currently sorting out how he did it...but no luck yet! xD

  • Editvoicepak for what?

  • Your custom sounds...you read out the instructions from the ATC, but with your voice! LOL

I'm not going to ask how, since I don't expect a response to how you did it anyways... :D

  • I have explained many times how I do it....I swap my voice for the FS Captain's voice post-production.

  • what is this for a ATC Voice or the rappeling noise when you touchdown.

That´s not in the normal FSX

  • This is not FSX...it is my FS9.....which I like to call FSXI.

  • i knew subscribing Your vid was good decision :) You should totally establish "Edetroit Panel Simulations" and earn a lot of money :)

  • Notice at 3:10 how the cabin is vibrating separately to the wings/engines?.....another first in 2D panel design.

  • Nice landing! Looks like an interesting approach. what scenery is that?

  • For the scenery go to flightsim(dot)com for

    flytegv2.zip

    mhtg2vup.zip

    mhgtv2af.zip

    hondmesh.zip

  • awsome! i'm the first
