@RedBeretXXX okay pull out your POS ford that has sat for as long and has copped as bigger flogging as this has had, ohh and btw cause your saying GM crap, clearly your american, GM onwed the company but these were Aussie built for our road conditions, most regular american cars would fall to bits on our roads back then! and the reason you don't need t rev these hard, they were a very Torque'y engine nice low revs was all that was needed!
They were still running the 308 in 84, the 304 came out with the Group A regulations of 85. Good to see this is the original too, not the 25 car painted as 05
