Well, sure...I guess he could have been a great shot, and for whatever reason declined to show his talents, but Oswald scored "marksman". He passed with the minimal level. This was verified to me by a witness who had been standing at the Dal-Tex corner with his father. He said not only they-but nearly EVERYONE had seen the smoke coming from the fence and he and his father were among those who ran to the scene and were stopped by the fake SS man.

Not only THAT -- But WHY would a shooter eject te last shell, that is, have to work the bolt p, back, forward and down to lock, placing another round in the chamber IF here were more than three bullets in the clip, and you'd have to expect a sniper would load a full clip, ie. at least five bullets? WHY jack that bolt to eject the last sent shell if there was no time for another shot? And then, how come there were no reports of a live round in the chamber when the rifle was found?

Earle Cabell was mayor of Dallas, Texas at the time of the assassination of John F. Kennedy and was later a U.S. Representative. He was the brother of Charles Cabell, who was Deputy Director of Central Intelligence until he resigned in the wake of the Bay of Pigs invasion.
