I've always been one of those goofy Americans that was obsessed with British culture... but now I'm starting to realize that America is not the only country that is messed up. I was so worried about watching the clip of Joss, but she sounded totally British to me. I don't see what all the fuss is about. To me, she's the real deal. and as much as you or i would love to see leela james, jill scott and others be very successful like there talents deserve, its not going to happen! sad as it is britney spears will probably sell more records and get more awards than these artists put together. we will always have un-talented pop tarts who have success because the way they look and dance. but to me this is not what music is about. to me its about singing with a voice and singing what you truly believe in. that is real music.
