I do not consider myself a TRUE Nightwish fan, but I quite like them. I do agree with you, although when I first heard the new vocals it was a bit abrasive since I was not expecting it.

That said, I accept her fully considering I hated the operatic vocals in the first place, but later embraced them. I wish Nightwish the best.

They have a totally diffrent kind of music now, and personally I don't think its half bad. Sure theres some songs on the album I didn't like, but on Tarja's albums there was some I didn't like each CD too!

some people need to understand who and what Nightwish really is... Tuomas IS Nightwish. Its NOT the singer! Of course Tarja had a great voice and she was amazing in a lot of her songs. Annete is different, but amazing as well! Tarja on her own is just a vocalist with a great voice and nothing else! A true Nightwish fan would not necessarily listen to just the voice of the singer but the actual message NW tries to give, the lyrics and the music. Tuomas is Nightwish, NOT Tarja or anyone else.
