The Exmark Commercial 21 is a very innovative product. It has a significant reduction in part count – Simple and less moving parts. In the three years the product has been on the market, it has proven to be a very reliable and durable product which fits right into the Exmark brand.
You got a beautyfull machine there EXMARK. I would love to hve one of these, but i cannot get myself to use any other 21 then lawnboy, lawnboy has been the mower i loved since i was born in 1976,got too many memories with them.
I do like your wide mowers and wanna get one someday.
I have a 2008 Exmark Metro 21". Great machine but grass sticks to the deck when it's wet and the chute clogs up. Will this newly designed model eliminate this problem? Also:
1. Honda GSV or Kawasaki. Which one is better for the S Series?
2. Have all the issues from 2010 (belt snapping, difficulty driving up hill, poor mulching) been resolved?
I have been cutting grass for 7 years or so in Canada, mostly using Toro commercial 21 units. I DO like Toro/Exmark equptment, however and no offence, but my opinoin is.... as far as commercial 21's go Honda is doing somthing right!

@Jonnybgood1157 Thanks for the feedback. We hope you have taken an opportunity to run the new Exmark Commercial 21” mower. As stated in the video, it has a new design from the ground up after many hours of working with landscape professionals and contractors, in the field.
@TurfCare11 Thank you for the suggestion. We’ve actually found that plastic wheels tend to hold up better than steel wheels for these units. These composite wheels are also lighter which improves the maneuverability of the machine.
Im going into the lawn care business begining with the 2011 mowing season...still considering which manufacturer I will go with. Exmark is my first choice, if I can afford it!! I pay cash only so not concerened with credit specials...wondering if I can get a ballpark figure on these 21" units...thanks
Do these have the same bolt patterns as the old 22000 types that used the suzuki 2 strokes? The bottom looks the same in the center area. I been collecting the old 22000 cast decks for awhile. Great stuff. Thanks for keeping the good old mowers available. Please don't ever sell out to the big boxes. People think they can get old toro quality from Home Depot at Lowes- Exmark is the only place If you want a new mower that will last. These $1000+ mowers hold their value-I got $550 on a '96 22040
@zack11attack Sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the Commercial 21. I'd like to have someone give you a call to discuss the problems you're having. Can you send your e-mail address or phone number to exmarkpr@exmark.com so someone can get in touch with you?
I purchase two of the 21 in with the kawasaki engine. On both mowers, the belt would fall off within minutes of being in use. Also, this machine will not mulch at all. I couldn't believe I paid a $2000 for mowers that wouldn't work. I will never buy another exmark. This was just unacceptable. I lost a lot of money due to all the down time I had in trying to return these mowers.

@chevymudding01 The Commercial 21 only comes with a 21” deck. The Metro comes in 26” however. One of those units will cost somewhere around $1,699 new, though you will need to check with your local deal as prices vary due to locations and specific discounts running at the time of purchase.
theses mower so my landscap owner has a push one and a lazer z and the push mowr is in the shop ever other week or month because it doesnt run right and the zero turn is hard to start dont buy one u will pay more than u did buyinfg them in the first place
I bought one of these mowers and sold it within a week! There is a major flaw with this mower: there is no belt cover under the deck! The drive belt came off within the first two days of using it and then it completely snapped in half the next day. Grass gets stuck up under the deck where the belt is and gets caught in the drive belt. This would be a great mower if it wasn't for this flaw!
@tclopez1970 Great to hear the unit sold so quickly! Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to let us know whats working for you and whats not. If you have any other issues, do let us know. Thanks!
Toro owns Exmark, Toro is the same company that hasn't listened to landscaping pros for the past 20 years. It's the same company that charges us $40 for a wheel. I'm not sure what Toro is doing with the Exmark but I can't wait to get out of these mowers and out of their $50 throttle cables and $50 wheels and at least $50 any time something breaks.
@DaveAtYouBoob: Thanks for the comment. We value customer feedback greatly and look at any feedback positive or negative as great information to help us become a better company with even better mowers! Feel free to send along any specific ideas or thoughts you might have wed be glad to pass it along to the team! Thanks!

Put steel wheels on your 21" mower like your brother Toro does. We don't like plastic wheels on commercial units.
