Cyclists & Roundabouts New York DOT

They need to take a look at roundabouts in Europe. There is a cycling lane that goes around the outside of the circle that cyclists stick to. Just like cars, they have the right of way if they're already in the circle.

There's no need to be dangerous and switch across two lanes and then try and merge with vehicle traffic into and out of the circle, that's just stupid.

They are crazy if they think this is anyway acceptable for cyclists or pedestrians. Car-centric design...then we'll just pencil in the the walking and cycling infrastructure...ha!
