BSC rocks because they have a variety of music...they have soft ballads, Rock ballads like this, hard core songs like most of their first and second album and they also have those songs about having fun (which is pretty much country rock) so all in all BSC rocks!

@iamspikeyoko what does it mean "never mind 3:05"??? He goes up to nice notes in different songs, with a lot of power. Anyway I know that he hasn't technique, but sincerly I prefer him to Stockdale.
I agree. This is the first album where they worked with co-writers and I think it shows in some of their songs, there's some things in there that don't sound like them. That said, some really cool stuff has come out of this album and after a few listens i am really liking most of the new BSC so I think we can forgive them that. As musicians they are pushing themselves to see what else they can do, and that's awesome :)
@Metalhead8700 you read my mind man, first few times I listened I was just to focused on the influence of the co-writers 'couse you can really hear that (as most people noted in one way or another). but once you get past that, or get used to it, these are without a doubt some pretty awesome BSC tracks.
And I for one, can't wait to see them live again. ;)
There has always been variety, on each album they have released so far. So I don't see what the problem is. Everybody is entitled to their opinion and you don't have to like every single song. It's just people should stop bashing them for daring to try different things.
@haydenwce27 I totally agree with you, it sounds too FM to me. I don't blame Nickelback but there are currently too many bands copying them because they are popular. I love BSC because they sound typically hard southern rock, I will miss that genuineness. Anyway, check out an Aussie band called " Koritni ". if you like old BSC, you'll like this band for sure ! they are not mainstream at all.
