lol i do it all the time in my piece of shit Kia. you feint the steering wheel one way and jerk the next way to unbalance the weight of the car, you catch the slide and once the tail is coming back around and going in the next direction, you swing the wheel the opposite way again to keep the car unbalanced. simple. come to cali ill show you how its done. i do it on dirt tho. its easier and less costly to ur tires.

Well ur half right. Balance is only part of it. A more accurate description would be:

Entering a corner or turning the wheel hard enough so that the forward inertia of the vehicle in the initial direction is greater than the grip factor of the tyres resulting in a slide. How soon this happens depends on tyre condition and suspension capabilities. Drifting is POWER initiated....not inertia.

Inertia slide= Grip loss is END result (slide)

Drift= Grip loss is INITIAL action needed for the slide

Drifting is pretty easy. Well on dirt or snow. Tar is different. But yea I can get my truck to drift. Has a powerful engine. 300 6L. It can drift on tar. Maybe not as good as these other supped up cars.
