I agree that many people can hit the crap out of a 1 ball or even a 2 ball. However, HE does it with such ease! Granted this is just warm up and to be honest, this is all he is doing. He's not trying to bounce a ball! I bet that if he tried he could literally hit is straight down. He's an amazing player because he has amazing block awareness and still bounces the hell out of balls from every position on the court.

1st of all, this attack is not at all his highest ...2nd, he is ca.196cm tall (I stood right next to him and I'm 190cm). The tips of his fingers are (while standing) at approx. 255-260cm. So now add the 120cm jump and you get a max reach of ca.370-380cm. But during a game you very rarely, even though you could have a spike like his, attack the ball higher that on approx. 320cm (tip of the antena) due to the increasing speed of the game and consequently the ever quicker sets made by the setters.

Marshalls max jump is 50 inches which is 127 cm. He is 193cm...which mean his finger tips should be 320 cm above the net. This net height should be 243 cm, giving him 77cm above the net...just a less than a metre. Obviously his very very very maximum jump is going to be 50 inches, not his average. Still....pretty fucking impressive.

It's nothing special this specific attack, of course I'm sure a 6'6" tall very athletic guy man can do a lot better ;)

We see all those spectacular dunks that MJ has done in a game or in a dunk contest... we've watched the replays, but how many guys in the world can do those same dunks?.... hundreds if not thousands!
