hey man im actually getting 2009 GT250R, how do you like yours? im trying to see how someone who has had it for over a year or 2 how they like it. so how is running this long after youve had it? everything still good on it? and the stock speed was 170kmh? also how many miles per gallon do you get? and is this bike able to drive for hours at a time perhaps 3 hours with flucuating speed from 45 to 65? sorry for so many questons but im just very interested in the hyosung 250 im gonna get.
@halfaker100 So ive had it for 2 yrs now coming up in march. encountered my first promlem the other day where the rear brakes locked up, caused by water getting into the master piston for the hydraulics. wasnt a big issue plus i still had my warranty... phew. would have been $180 to fix, but still had to spend $340 for major service, even though i had it serviced at 9000 km and the clock now reads 12000. the bike is sweet though, I LOVE IT. and recommend it over all other 250s.
@gabster2408 i have ridden them all, some are smoother at times eg. ninja, however none have the riding postion as the hyosung does and when you ride the hyosung you feel like your on a bigger bike, as apose to the others where you feel like your riding a honda colt 110. Yes the stock speed is 170km/h ( i do wiegh 65kg though) are curious to this as being bad or good? to be honest i havent checked ml/g, km/l. and the bike would do fine on longer rides and i am an extremly aggressive rider.

@zrimm15 to be honest i forgot how exactally just coz i really cant remember how it was set up before, but ill have a look and maybe i can make something. it really is quite easy and just use ur imagination. you aren't gonna mess anything up that badly and if so you can always get a new tail :p

Hey man I have had my bike for a week ( the exact one you have) and for some reason the Fuel Injection light has come on while riding, and now when I have turned on the ignition it keeps staying on and telling me to check the fuel injection. It won't even click over when I go to start it up. Have you got any ideas as to what this may be? I have no clue about motorbikes and am a new user so would be helpful if you could tell me. Cheers.

@rikkiroxx666 na man, not 1 porblem. its really good bike. i have had the bike for only 6 months now and i would kinda think that all most bikes should have no problems. from want i heard it was the latter models that had problems and they started to occur around about the one year old mark. but heard nothing bad about the 10' models...yet :D
i've noticed that on the 2010 models there are 2 black things coming out of the back near the seat. on the older models there was a one piece bar similar to those but it could easily be removed. can these be removed though because i think it makes the bike look a little weird
@xNzzyz na man it dosen't sometimes i do lose track of my gears but you do learn to feel and hear the gears aswell so it dosent really cause a problem :p
yeah i wanted to get a hyosung but a lot of people telling me hyosung has a lot of problems on the bike... is this true with you? hows ur bike running so far?
@0kynot nope no problems, alot of the problems were with the earlier models each year they get better and better. but it runs great the only problem is im seriously starting to feel the lack of power, i just wanna go faster...is that so wrong :P
@harrisisangry na the neons arent waterproof, however it dosent really matter coz i dont put them on when i ride, too affraid of the cops pullin me over :P
