I read what they said Tony Evans is saying is false and its wack.. Tony breaks it down.. some of the other preachers are merely scratching the surface. Everyone has the holy spirt cause God gave him to us from our birth. The effect of the spirit in our lives depends on how we chose to respond to it... That's why u can't draw conclusions on pple spiritual life. God does the changing, how he wants to, when he wants to..We don't have the authority..

Pastor Evans is the reason why I got back into church in the mid90's he was the only preacher that broke the bible down and gave illustrations to where I understood and appreciate the bible. He never deviates from the bible. So if he's false then the bible is false. He's a great teacher of the bible. He's nothing like these "Prosperity Preachers" of today. He's old school.

Think of the pastor that has a famous rapper that goes 2 his church, can he preach on the sins that person openly commits through his life and his music? Can he preach about homosexuality when the band director is openy gay? Certainly Not! Blessed is the preacher that preaches the whole council of God, One that challenges sin dispite loosing popularity! I like Pastor Evans because he challenges the sins of his church and others through God's Word. Let us be doers of the Word, not fault finders!

I have 2 admit that I have not watched this video but, I oftin listen on the radio. He seems 2 challenge the Gods of the world in his sermons. Many of us can't deal with the sin in our lives because we are used to hearing watered down messages that don't put weight to sin. If u want to see a false teacher than listen to Joel Osteen! There are some pastors that can't preach about certain sins because there are members of influence that openly practice sin. (See next comment)

The unrighteous (workers of iniquity) cannot do works of righteousness even using the name of Jesus. This is why one future date he will declare, "I never knew you: Depart from me!" I love Tony Evans, but sin was on the Earth when God said "It was good." I highly doubt that! Bible says sin did not enter the world until Adam and Eve took the fruit. If that's the case, then satan must of come not very much before that fall. also, i dunno about your church, but mine is built on JESUS CHRIST!

i agree with you Romiller82. Sin began when Lucifer disobeye God and were cast out of heaven to the earth. but sin entered humanity when Adam had taken his bite of the fruit (him being the head...did not say anything)

Read Genesis again, the Bible states that the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They knew the consequence of sin - separation from God (aka spiritual death) after eating the fruit. But in order for them to choose the fruit in the first place, they had to have a will choose obedience to God or disobedience. Meaning, as Christ alluded to in the New Testament about lust of the eye being equal to adultery, the mental decision to sin before the act of sin is still sin.

So Eve sinned first disobeying her husband (whose job it was to relay God's law), then Adam sinned (partaking from Eve and not casting the fruit away). Reading Isaiah, we understand that the first sin committed occurred with Lucifer and the 1/3 of Angelic host cast to Earth before "Let there be Light". So sin inhabited earth with the first sinner, Satan. Be Blessed
