  • king of the hill had a good anime ost

  • Wow, The one place I didn't think I'd find any arguing, here it is. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about it. But I can't help but love the music and relax

  • @TLDavisJazzChannel Thanks for posting this! Great song, great band! This band and song is one of two reasons I started playing the horn!

  • This simply a timeless classic, meant to be enjoyed over and over again; I know of n other artists whose work has had such a profound impact on music lovers past present and those soon to come. Thanks man.

  • Like if you're here because of Zombieland!

  • Master!!!

  • Thank you Chuck for your gifted artisty....forever insiring! Always stay blessed.

  • My Dad loves this song. Haven't seen him in 5-6 years... damn these VISAs and finance, gotta hate them sometimes.

  • Thank you for posting. It feels euphoric and almost orgasmic listening to the crescendos and decrescendos of this music. Splendid, fantastic and muy magnifico!

  • This song is from the movie "Distracting Trumpet!"

  • I loved this song when it first came out, and it holds up today as one of the finest songs ever, in my opinion. And yes, it makes you feel so good to hear it! STILL makes me happy when I listen to it.

  • Simplemente maestro!!!!

  • I need harmonica tabs for this song, does anyone have them?

  • I wonder why you do not hear artists coming out with stuff like this today? This long version is great! Thanks!

  • mega dale sniff sniff

  • The double G man kills this solo. One of the best guitar solos ever !!!

  • Preciosa Cancion muy preciosa es muy linda y comoda al oirla.

  • This song is about what it was like back in the 1970s when you could have sex without condoms.

  • 5:22 the best guitar solo in jazz...

  • Nine people feel bad.

  • @tjhoward789 Nine people play the clarinet...

  • Don't know if any of you know this but "flügelhorn" is a German word that means "winged horn". Chuck sure does make make it soar the way it's meant to.

  • This is what falling in love sounds like

  • フュージョン・フリューゲルの懐かし音、果てしなくメロウのこだました、チャック・マンジョーネ、A&Mの大ヒット・チューン"FEEL SO GOOD"(フル・バージョン) #jazzm

  • Added to my Favorites

  • TIMELESS...

  • love that horn

  • It´s the best song when Iwas teeneger........

  • @poldos57 i'm a teenager and its still the best song

  • @lilhurricanev12 Why do you little idiots feel compelled to announce that you fall outside of a songs original demographic. Everyone likes some old music. You are in no way special.

  • @Maafa1619 You sir, are very rude.

  • @thesmellycatjazz There was nothing rude about what I said. Kids nowadays are mollycoddled by their simpering helicopter moms. By the time that they are 12 or 13 years old, they are convinced that A: the world owes them something, and B: that they can do no wrong. Well, guess what. The world outside of your mom's house doesn't give a fuck about you, and it isn't handing out trophies for merely participating.

  • @Maafa1619 Referring to him [and similar ppl] as "you little idiots" and "You are in no way special" is pretty damn rude. the poor kid was just making a note that unlike is peers, he enjoys good music; bashing him serves no purpose than to be rude. As young adult I defer that most of my peers. I hate pop/rap and I love jazz (so much so that Im majoring in it). If I wanted to share that bit of info on, let's say YouTube on a Chuck Mangione video, I dont see how that makes me a self-centered prick

  • @thesmellycatjazz See, that's where you are wrong. Plenty of his peers enjoy all varieties of music. Look around Youtube. There are kids who not only listen to good music, but can play it. On the other hand, the sentiment that one should be congratulated for merely liking some piece of music is all too common here. And, I suspect that it's a function of the way American kids are raised nowadays. If they don't wise up, they'll all be working in Chinese salt mines as adults.

  • @Maafa1619 Hey man, your tampon's dripping. Calm down, after all, you're listening to some very chill music, so why are you so uptight? Just enjoy and keep your shit to yourself.

  • @Maafa1619 hey mafia. shut up. you're making too big a deal about that guy's comment

  • @deutschbag1000 Who's "Mafia," you stupid fuck?

  • @Maafa1619 alright then maafa. shut up. you're making too big a deal about that guy's comment

  • @Maafa1619 p.s. watch your mouth. If you start randomly swearing it gets you nowhere and makes you look like an ass

  • すばらしい!

  • nice one!

  • The second guitar solo steals the show for me. It's no wonder they sandwiched it in the shorter single cut.

  • oh

    my god

  • one of the greatest songs ever made!

  • @theDarthh that is for sure.

  • I used to tune in to the jazz station when I was a high school kid doing my home work. I enjoyed rock and metal too, but jazz made studying a lot easier. Now, 30 years later, I'm finally going to college, guess what I listen to when I study? You got it. Go Chuck!

  • HE MAY NOT HAVE ANY LYRICS TO SING OUT IN THIS MELODY, BUT HOWEVER, it is better than listening to justine biebtrash music! ;D His "Mistletoe Cameltoe" music video sucked anyway because it was to short, and you could not really hear what the heck the biebs is saying due to his voice change.

I LOVE THIS SONG, FOR IT IS GOOD FOR MEDITATION. ;D

  • 3 hours later...

  • actually this song was for the (i believe) it was the 76 olympics but it was a inspiriational song for our athlete's // we did very well that years HATS OFF TO CHUCK MANGIONE

  • i like his music, for me it´s a mix of jazz, bossanova & ska.

  • Beyond the fine work on the horn, the guitar solo - starting at 5:21 - is one of the finest pieces of music ever. One full minute of pure genious. Gives me chills every time I hear it.

  • i tell you hwat

  • everybody vote up quintastic19 thats the best damn comment ive ever seen on youtube

  • This is one of about 4 instrumental tunes to ever go number 1 on the pop charts. You don't need words to have a hit, you just need a really fucking great tune.

  • i wanna learn how to play flugel horn. either that or learn it on trombone!!!

  • opening 1:34 secs was used for grandfathers funeral.

  • @King0fj3rs3y

He is REAL. And so is his brother GAP MANGIONE.

  • I remember hearing the radio-edit version in the car all the time as a kid. It's a nice enough tune scaled down, but you can only really appreciate it when you hear the full version.

  • Ladies and gentleman. MR. STEVE GADD on drums!!!

  • More people should play the flugelhorn.

  • great fight of sounds...the sax..and the trumpet .__. xD

  • I'm a native of Chuck's Birth Home and we are all still proud of him. A shout out to all Rochestarians out there!

  • if this song doesn't remind you why you're alive, then you're obviously not

  • @chuckmangionefan18 You've got my respect man! I wish i could play trumpet like that!

  • I remember hearing this on the radio when I was like 2 or 3 a lot, that's about when it came out. I just recently heard it again and it kinda took me back. had to find out who did it. Now i cant get enough.

  • Shopping at Mega-Lo-Mart Feels so Good.

  • my high school's jazz band just played this song for our spring concert. i have fallen in love with this song. the backups sound so cool. it just adds to the great foreground by the trumpet, guitar, and sax.

  • I guess seven people don't feel that good.

  • @Firefox94able More like Chuck ate their Cheerios and played their video games

  • I saw him at the Concord Pavillion years ago and it was incredible listening to him play this. He walked through the seated audience playing this song. I think it was close to the Summer Olympics in L.A.

  • The 7 dislikes are 7 people that dont know REAL music!

  • @ 4:17 Chris Vadala starts playing a musical interlude that has 2 distinctions.

    1) The 2nd greatest recording of a Tenor Saxophone solo in a group setting (Knock Yourself Out by Lenny Pickett on the Tower Of Power LIVE album from Sacramento California 1976 is the greatest EVER).

    2) The greatest Tenor Saxophone solo in a group setting on a studio album.

Ok, so that's just my opinion and my opinion doesn't count any of the Jazz Masters from the 40s-70s

  • @r5t6y12 Interesting, I totally agree with you on #1, but Vadala's solo is #2? I'll agree that the form and shape of the solo is great (even better is Grant Geisman's solo on this same tune - killin!) - but I wouldn't call it #2.

There's this guy I once heard about, not very well known in saxophone circles, kind of an underground guy. I think his name is Michael Brecker. You should check him out ;)

  • @WhatTheFlyinFudge,

Yeah GG's solo is killer also. (especially for me between 6:03-6:05 and then again between 6:14-6:19)

  • the solos in this song are epic

  • I used to have Fun and Games on Vinyl 1977 I was around 10....there was nevertheless another song which i can not find it was so smooth and relaxing...Chuck is awesome and this song is a Prime forever...regards...O

  • The FULL Version!

  • Man Grant just tears it up on this solo. Probably one the best guitar solos ever. I listen to Jango, Duane, Steve, the Rosenburgs and its hard to find a better guitar solo. Perfect intonation and harmonic ability.

Hats off to the double G man.

  • @marcusdolby1 I could'nt agree with you more.

  • @marcusdolby1 The most striking thing about his solo, is it's form. It just builds perfectly, and takes you to so many places. I'm not even a guitar player, and I'm blown away by it every time I hear it.

  • 7 people dont feel so good.

  • chuck mangione actually plays the fluglehorn. the happy birth ospring of the trumpet and french-horn combined. lol, its true. in this song atleast

  • chuck mangione actually plays the fluglehorn. the happy birth ospring of the trumpet and french-horn combined. lol, its true.

  • Great song...appropriate title...

  • 6 people just dont have no jazz in their souls.. smh

  • how do i put a youtube video on endless repeat?

  • @danny38234 endlessvideo . com

Just put in the code of the video in the box on the right hand side of the page where it says "Enter VIDEO_ID Here..."

    RID-gqSw85o (it's from the URL)

  • @danny38234 In the URL, right after where it says "youtube," before ".com," type "repeat."
