  • My BSL is minimal at best (studied asl) But I still managed to get the story alright. Next time as people have said use a darker color for the captions or box them so they stand out more. Overall pretty good.

  • LOL - wish my interpreter looked as cute as the one on this video ;)

  • I was going to say..I don't think this is ASL, lolol...wow I was sitting and was like...I don't understand this!!!

  • I think you should re-do the color of the Sub-Titles, so that the lighter background doesn't make it hard to read.

  • I agree with the rest... yellow is the worst color for subtitles. It worked OK in the theater, though. LOL

  • Impossible to read the subs.....yellow??!?!?!!! Poor choice of color. Try a different color that is easy to read........but NEVER YELLOW on that kind of background. IT TOOOOO LIGHT! GO DARK! Overall this vid. i give poor rating. Most ppl are more fluent in American ASL, not BSL. Wasn't a great vid in my opionion. I am deaf myself and communicate in ASL all my life since i was 14. I did not like this vid.

  • @freedomdances I am from england, we sign bsl not asl, so dont tell us to learn asl aswell. I am 14, and i never want to learn asl. Im happy to know bsl. At least he did it in subtitles. Dont complain about something as stupid.

  • @freedomdances

By that logic you should abandon ASL for Chinese Manderin, as Manderin is the most widely known language in the world.

  • @firedance99 Not /widely/. It's spoken by the most people, but not in the most countries.

  • @freedomdances This is from a different country where they use BSL. How many people use BSL and how many use ASL and how many use Mexican Sign Language or MSL and Spanish Sign Language and CSL-Chinese Sign Language and many many other sign languages. Most people are not fluent in ASL, maybe many Deaf in the US use ASL and in other places too they use ASL but that does not mean ASL is used the most... Just like American English is not used the most, if anything, British English is used more..

  • what are they coming from

  • awsomeeeeee

  • I was just going to post the same. The yellow subs are not very good choice. Can't read anything.

  • you should consider changing the color of the subtitles... it is not very easy to read...

  • Nice film thanks for the subtitles!

  • ROTFLOL!! NICE VID!!

  • Good movie!

  • thank u for the subtitle ... i know "english sign language" but not fluently in asl/bsl

  • It my hearing is failing and I find people difficult to lipread and to understand I few signs but my signing is not as free flowing as this is and overously BSL is not my language also I have slow learning problems also anyone got any suggestions at all. I see the point of the film though u really have trust what they sign or say to a deaf or hearing person, thank for raising the subject of this issue

  • Cool vid, i enjoyed it. I've got one point of criticism: it might have been more useful to choose another colour for subtitle, e.g. red, cause in yellow it's sometimes difficult to read.

  • Heh, I figured they did that on purpose just to mess with the hearing people who are watching. ;-)

  • Very nice film. Thank you for putting up subtitles. Great story and writing. Nicely done.
