  • The movie was decent I felt. I agree the movie is probably too long - could have been half an hour shorter. But I liked the tone of the film and it moved at a pace which was alright for me. A lot of Korean films build up their plots and this one did a good job at it - I don't know if you've seen a lot of Asian films (I certainly have) and often the slow build ups and styles of their films is what makes me more attracted to their cinema compared to Hollywood nowadays.

  • I didn;t like it either...too much sex and I ended up stopping...idk...I just hated it...

  • Removing thumbs up? Fail....

  • The movie lives up to the hype. It's a masterpiece. If you think this movie was slow than korean films aren't for you. I'm assuming you're into fast pace mainstream movies like twilight. A comparison would be Twilight = Lil Wayne and Thirst = Mozart. Thirst is more like classical music and some people just doesn't like classical music.

  • well i respect your opinion, but i gotta say thirst is pretty good according to me. the sheer internal conflict of the pastor character is just awesome. on the outside he's a priest, revered by many, but inside he's a vampire, tormented by his own guilt. it's really hard to say who's right and who's wrong, but i just love how the movie sum it up that vampire are not immortal, sooner or later they will die of either loneliness or guilt. that's much more realistic than vampires in twilight.

  • Hype can be a killer. Also, if you're new to or unfamiliar w/ pace of Asian cinema, then that doesn't help either because they...can be...long winded. Go watch these faster paced Korean films "The Host" "Violent City" "Attack the Gas Station pts. 1 & 2" "The Foul King" .

  • I'm sorry you guys didn't enjoy the movie. I'm Korean, and you have to know Korean culture to really understand the movie. You guys should watch Memories of Murder or Oldboy. They are Faptastic :)

  • you know what you both look like using these T-Shirts? TWO DORKS! HAHAHAH. You cant even appreciate a good movie from good people like south koreans!

  • oh god this is the only park chan wook's movie that ui didnt like, all the movie that he made was awesomeeeeee joint security area, mr vengeance, lady vengeance, and oldboy

  • At first I hated you guys because I loved Thirst. But you guys are pretty funny. And i'll have to agree, it was a long ass movie with a lot of unnecessary Mahjong scenes. But that's how a lot of Eastern movie are. Sorry. I hope you guys will see Old Boy, maybe you'll like that instead, it's by the same director.

  • BAHAHA you guys removed the thumbs on the comments, because you know your review sucks.

  • you guys know nothing ;)

  • not sophisticated enough to appreciate this masterpiece.

  • Uhm, I thought this was pretty god damned different, and maybe even a bit creative. It's Korean, cut them some slack. I thought it was quite good.

  • This review must be a joke...if it's not I truly feel sorry for your taste in cinema.

  • Lol @ all these comments saying he sucks at reviewing movies. (Which he doesnt)

Obviously, hes into American/Hollywood films so he wouldn't get it.

Movie was amazing but you have to be used to style Koreans use for movies.

  • Chan-Wook Park is a brilliant director. I cant wait to see this movie

  • I found the film great and i dont belive it was slow because it has a music backround which made the film more interestic. It's really good film, great direction and i suggest you to rewatch the film on DVD.

  • I couldn't agree more. I heard so much praise for this movie, and then when It was over I honestly thought something was wrong with me. Like I was the only person on the planet who "didn't get it" or something. Fuck this movie. Oldboy is still good in my book.

  • you gota be korean to understand these movies...different style of film

  • You are a bootlicker for hollywood. I've seen your intention, you just indirectly said that US horror movies is better than asian films.

    Well you suck.

  • go home.

  • and what wrong with Korean porn!!!????.....bunch a morons!

  • o God! there are people who apparently liked the movie! needed to support u cause i see ppl pick on your age! i'm not a adolescent and i didn't like it eather! it's boring as hell!

  • fck u

  • thirst was wery good.

  • Are Americans too lazy to read subtitles?

  • @johncpickens It's spelled Bela. Bela Lugosi.

  • Actually this movie 'Thirst' is about a current situation of Korea under the regime of 2MB(Myeongbak Lee) and its voters.

  • Thirst isn't terrible. Its one of the best vampire films around, but its definitely not one of Park Chan-Wook's best films.

Having said that, its hard to live up to the amazing Oldboy which is like no other movie, its in a league of its own.

But yeah, its not terrible and its made well, it is just a bit dull and the sex scene DRAGGED on!

  • I've only just heard about this movie (like two days ago) and I love the director and his other films (the Revenge Trilogy?!?!?) so much I ordered it off HMV without hesitation.

I don't mind movies that have a slow build up. Many Asian horror films are like that. I am hoping I won't be let down by you guys, but I am also guessing neither of you are fans of Asian horror, like I am.

  • Asian mentallity is really different! But these asian films are soooooo good when they have been adapted and

    re-made!

    Grudge for example!!!!

    (Takashi Shimizu 清水崇)

  • It's going to be about Koreans!!! DAAAA

  • I quite enjoyed the movie. I do have to say however that it was not my favorite movie by this director. I enjoyed Old Boy much more, but this movie was great none the less.

  • meh i only saw the trailer and didnt think it was good feel free to flame me but i agree with these 2 dont even bother crying about an opinion im not into romance movies

  • wats mahjong?? lol

  • i dont like those type of korean movies i think its weird like lady vengeance and oldboy and his other movies but u guys are just jerks

  • I thought that this movie was not the best. I will agree with you Eric, because it would have been better if it was made into a short film. The plot was just dragging. The vampire stuff was good though, very original. 2 1/2 out of 5.

  • i just saw this yesterday, and you guys are spanking this movie way too hard

  • that movie was good.

  • lets assume that thirst/Let the right one in are vegetable............

  • then underworld/van helsing etc..is a meat,

in real life i only eat meats and only a few vegetable....so im a meat eater...

  • but if i say that vegetable is boring to eat = not a good food and it is terrible..

that is not an opinion....it is a false analogy or a bad sense of reasoning...or maybe your are retarded....

  • but if i say that i cant eat vegetable because im not excel in understanding the taste of it = i think its an acceptable reasoning compare to everybody has his own opinion

  • i hear many negative comments b4 seeing this movie....but im prepared to be bored if that so,, im just curious in this movie coz....i like the directors other movies...............but when i've watch it together w/ my mom.......................in the begining...it was decently entertains me but later......it blows my MIND........x10 better than i expected

maybe these 2 likes only underworld thing (beating up stuff sort of things

  • d-bag alert

  • if you havnt youv got to see Old Boy wich he made. a masterpiece !

worth watching in your life time

probably the best one ever made from him

  • normally i'd write something insulting to an idiotic review like this, but if Thirst was your first Park Chan-Wook experience then it makes sense that you'd have this reaction.

I recommend you see Oldboy if your looking for something a little more quickly paced, or maybe Lady Vengeance or Joint Security Area if you can't sit through the slowly paced story build-ups. (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is also very compelling but would be too 'slow' for people who actually thought that Thirst was slow)

  • its so sad that 99percent of teenagers(especially americans) think hollywood is the only source of great films. yes they have done some great films in the past but most of their movies(especially recent ones) have bad plots, dull, needs to have sex and violence in every movie, the main guy always needs to survive (often with his girlfriend) and copy many good foreign films (they are recently doing a remake of oldboy..). there are so many good foreign films out there other than hollywood movies

  • I have good news for you: Oldboy wont be remade! :D

  • yeah i saw the article a few days ago! isnt it great? haha it should stay that way

  • i watched thirst and it was really great.

if you guys saw the old boy directed by Chan-wook park, you guys should have known that that director is not aiming for normal, action, typical movies

you need to think deep for his movies

it was not about korean porn, korean talking and korean playing mahjong

it was really about human desire which can lead to extreme

i got something out of this movie, i hopeed you guys did too =[

oh and if you didn't, watch old boy

  • I respect your opinions... but that doesn't change the fact that you two can go fuck yourselves! Thirst is one of the best vampire movies ever made! Go back to watching the Twilight crap you're used to, assholes!

  • Unfortunately any chance of respecting YOUR opinion went out the window when you insulted us... good try, though. Really.

  • Aww, damn, I really really wanted that respect, but thank you for considering. Really.

  • "Thirst" got a very good rating of 82% on rottentomatoes(dot)com (Fresh: 78, Rotten: 17).

  • You are so wrong! This movie was one of the best vampire movies I've ever seen. The girlfriend rules.

  • well. we should get a point of what the movie wanna say!! that's the priest's complication between as a part of the priest who want helps needy and as a vampire who are thirsty of the human blood including needy!! first time he tried drinking only blood transfusion but, because of the girl friend he couldn't drink only it. she wanted living people who would be more fresh. then he chose a death! poor guy!! it could be longer than you thought but i think we can see how the priest is complicating!

  • Really? I felt that the only problem with the movie was that it was a bit rushed at parts. Anyway I thought it was the best movie of the year.

  • Saw it yesterday. One of the better movies I've seen in a while and by no means boring or too long.

It's not a typical vampire movie by any means. I felt that the whole "being a vampire thing" took a backseat through most of the film to the love story and character depiction/development. (basicly what you call sitting around/porn)

  • Most of the movies plot points could have worked without any vampirism involved and that I feel makes the whole experience more believable. The movie is also very appealing visually.

In short I highly recomend it for everyone to see.

  • thirst was fucking amazing

  • "Korean porn" is no where in hell even close to describing this film. I thought this film was great! Maybe you were expecting some kind of action because it was a vampire movie, but you need to see more of Park Chan Wook's films. Just because there was a lot of talking doesn't mean that the film was bad. He makes some of the most amazingly twisted films that may take a few times watching to understand. But hey, that's just my opinion.

  • I would never jump at the chance to see a Park Chan Wook film after seeing Thirst haha, sorry

  • Wow, you guys are retarded, Thirst was excpetionally good. Go back to loving American films then, they only target one chakra, and it's the lower one.

This movie gave me a boner, you guys need to grow up. It was hot.

  • So ironic; you tell us to grow up in the same sentence as "this movie gave me a boner". God help me.

  • It gave me a brain boner, or erection if you want to be more grown up about it. Sunny boy. Hey, I totally agreed with your comments about the movie Moon, I loved that movie. But Korean cinema is just so much better than American. John Wook Park is just amazing. He did Thirst..by the way.

  • I laughed when you said the movie mainly consisted of "Korean people talking" and "Korean porn". If you felt something porn about this movie, I feel so sorry for you.

  • I feel sorry for me too, for sitting through it.

  • Considering you'd love Saw 6, (and I watched it today evening and it was F---ING terrible). You're probably the worst movie reviewer I've ever witnessed in internet

  • And yet people love my reviews, go figure. Jealous? Yes.

  • @scoza

he is the worst reviewer on youtube he loves films like hancock, step brothers, final destination 4 and the saw films yet he dislikes thirst he is a fucking idiot

  • This is so pathetic and narrow-minded ... The fact that you mostly talk about people falling asleep in the theater to prove your point is even worse ... Go watch some easily understandable Hollywood trash, if you don't understand this uniquely brilliant masterpiece.

  • I think I will, thank you!

  • thirst is a great movie. i dont think you guys liked it because you guys dont understand "art". it was very good = the ironic plot, acting, cinematography etc. another great film by parkchanwoo. not as good as oldboy but this would be 2nd in my list of his films. even though i think vampire movies are lame, this one was great.

  • We don't understand "art"? Man I hate people like you with a passion.

  • whoawhoa so many comments in one hour.. yes you heard me. you guys dont understand art of film at all(the irony, the cinematography, the tragedy.. its a great film). pretty obvious from people who watches g.i.joe and twilight.. just like the general crowd. watch commercial movies, listen to commercial music etc (like a flock of sheep). you are one of them from my point of view. you hate me with a passion? i could say the same thing kid

  • i just got back from the cinema, didnt like it but not for the same reason as you two. I really enjoyed the dialogues, cinematography and the acting in the film, i thought they were really good but the film didnt make me think. It's not gonna stay in my head afterward, pretty easy to forget i reckon. It was surprisingly un-awkward though since i went to see it with my mum (though she kept saying she was going to throw up, literally) we both agreed that it wasn't a very good film.

  • numb minding American waste of space

  • I resent that. I'm American and I like foreign films.

I think that Thirst was amazing and Let the Right One was also an excellent film.

  • Yeah I thought Let The Right One In was incredible, mironis. But then again you're an idiot, so why am I even explaining myself?

  • probably because u seeking for virtual attention wherever.... :)

nevertheless i do Apologize my remark was totaly uncalled for and to harsh.

  • u wrote 'movie review'. but u are speaking about a sleeping guy and uninteresting 'facts'

  • Yep!

  • people fall asleep in EVERY movie. doesn't really matter how good it is

  • No no... never seen that before.

  • I just watched it last night. I agree with your review. It did play quite slowly with some long scenes. I went in expecting another Old boy, which was a bad idea. Oldboy is nearly impossible to top.

  • dumb asses... it's a shame to see ignorance on video....

I'm shure you two loved Underworld and Twilight... two pieces of crap...

See "Let the Right one In", read more about vampires and then see again Thirst

  • Let The Right One In was amazing, what's your point?

  • i like how you both moan about "korean porn, Korean sitting around talking, Korean standing around talking...", when these films go down as the greatest. Just cause you don't have your bum thrill action scenes throughout doesn't make it a bollocks film.

if you're gonna review films, look at them from a different aspect

  • This film will NOT go down as the greatest anything, it was pretty damn bad. But hey, keep telling yourself OUR PERSONAL OPINION is wrong if it makes you feel better.

  • Okay, and that was my personal opinion of your personal opinion. Although, it's safe to say that the majority of comments on here are slating your review. I would've given up defending my opinion if i were you - face it, your review is lame.

  • Lets go over this review

you say mind numbing length, pffft i found Twilight to be absolutely mind numbing, 2 hours of nothing fucking happening in that film. Thirst things do happen and characters are explored.

Korean porn, pfft its called erotica, far and away not porn, i didn't see any penetration shots in that film, not porn.

You heard such great things from people who have respect for film and realize the dredge that is Twilight and GI Joe.

In short stick to Hot Topic douches

  • So wait a minute you openly liked twilight

you openly admitted in your twilight review that you went to a midnight screening

You basically loose all credibility there, stick to mainstream crappy fake as hell meyerpire love stories cause you know jack all. You admitting to being a twilight fan basically says that to me.

  • So if you were aware of that prior to watching this review, why did you watch it? Just to complain and bitch and moan? Thought so!

  • This isn't your typical American action thriller. And you guys don't know wtf you're talking about. Chan-wook park is an amazing director and you just spit on his face? you guys are simple minded people who just go see movies for action.

  • Ask a film major what they liked about the film, You guys will be surprised. Personally i think you might need some asian culture backgroud to get the most out of the film. What I think you two don't get is that ur lack of insight into other culture is in a strange way very insulting.

  • Why do I care about what a film major says? It's my personal opinion. Are you telling me my own opinion is wrong? Good job.

  • There are a lot of reason why u should care, but i'm not saying u should or should not care. I'm saying you will be surprised. AS for your "opinion", this is a common one these days, you are entitled to you own opinion, that does't mean your opinion is worth a dime. I'm saying your opinion is not worth a dime. "good job"?

  • while some people commenting need to get their panties out of a bunch, i thought this review was the funniest thing i have ever seen. its an opinion! people are so mean. much love <3

  • After scrolling down about 50 comments, yours was the only one that didn't make me hate people lmao. Thank you.

  • your very welcome :) and i can now pretty much say every line while watching this video, thats how many times i have watched it xD

  • considering these are the idiots that found "The Collector" good and somehow found good things to say about "GI Joe" Why dont you fucking idiots stick you your american blockbusters and leave the real talent alone.

What did you expect to see from a fucking Korean director? A bunch of suburbian american highschool kids talking about how amazing Megan Fox is?

Last time I check winning an award at Cannes was a pretty big deal, and Park Chan Wook has done it more than once.

    Sorry its not twilight

  • We hated The Collector... ? Lmfao nice try though! Really!

  • @ErickWithNoK he laid out an entire argument and all you could counter him was "we hated the collector"..... wow.

  • if you guys went to a park chan wook film expecting something short and full of action then you're obviously not familiar with the director. the guy does make long movies yes; but every scene is required in aid of the story and character development. you guys owe it to yourselves to watch all of his films; do your best to listen to the dialogue, look at the shot compositions and appreciate the effort taken to set up and execute them. chan wook is an outstanding director & ur both missing out.

  • I think you should review comments to this khm... video.

And you should learn atleast basics of mahjong....

  • just wondering. have you guys seen oldboy or sympathy for lady vengeance? if yes.. what are your thoughts on that?

  • LOL. I fell asleep while seeing 'Die Another Day' which I was a little sad about because I love James Bond movies.

  • Yeah, douche bags!!! Chan Wook Park is amazing and the movie killed. "Koreans standing around, Korean porn, and Koreans talking" ITS A KOREAN FUCKIN MOVIE!!! What did u expect, then speaking spanish?!

  • go watch twilight or saw 57 or sumshit. te fuck is wrong wiv american kid's these days. Leave the good films for people who understand them.

    .|.

  • haven't seen the film but yet i'm really looking forward to watching it this week.

I liked Twilight but it was too teenybopper-ish. On the contrary, the trailer of Bakjwi was great. On top of that, this is a Park Chan Wook film! The man is a god! This film even made it to Cannes FF! Chan Wook ssi aja!

I can say right now, that Thirst > Twilight. Asian films are way better than American flicks.

These kids should just stick to the American flicks, films full of action but not much of a plot.

  • Never seen a park chan wook film eh? maybe you should stick to american movies

  • go back to hollywood. you're mainstream. and it's not a movie. it's a film. you may know a lot about movies but you know nothing about films.

in addition... forget it. you probably can't even comprehend what I'm saying. simple-minded Americans.

  • Agree completely. The review is idiotic, and the reviewers awful. Oldboy was outstanding, Lady Vengence was good - and believe me Thist is good.

  • movies review is not MOVIE experience. anyways, Where you two expecting an action(vampire) film? than it wasn't the right film for you guys, try maybe..underworld?

This film like other Park films packs a lot, needs a certain maturity in taste.

  • SHORT ATTENTION SPAN!!!! I just got back from watching this movie last night and I thought it was great. Sorry you guys couldn't enjoy it.

  • The reason this movie is hailed as a good movie is because most of the people that watch this understand CULTURAL DIFFERENCE.

Don't watch foreign films if you can't expect them to be different from the American standard of filmmaking.

  • Agree. Outstanding!

    reviewers: "Visual Cool stuff?" WTF?

  • u guys r pricks

  • jerks...

  • How stupid americans are?

go watch childish and girly movies like twilight.

  • OMG! you guys are fucking retarded. You are familiar with those weak ass emotion from American movies, like Twilight, no wonder you don't like Thirst. And btw your movie review sucks huge balls because i don' t see you say anything much about the movie. The only thing i see is that you talk about your opinion about the movie that you can't understand and some stupid shit that not even fucking related to a movie review.

  • Talking 30seconds about the movie, and than 1.30 minutes about other shit we dont care is not called a review...

but after watching your twilight-"review" im not really suprised how you could not like thirst.

You don't no nothing about Movies or Korean Culture, so go watch Saw or some other Shit...

  • it's a R-rated movie. I am sure u kids are not old enough to see it yet. Ice Age is more of your movie than thirst

  • Comment removed

  • thirst was a sweet movie, these kids are idiots

  • Well....... This movie was pretty slow because its in korean nd u guys wouldn't really understand the jokes in it. Its just asian story movie.

  • Is'nt one of those guys a fan of twilight? If so, then Thirst is probably a great movie.

  • I thought it was a great film with a good buildup, though it mightve been slow. go watch GI Joe douchebags

  • There is no porn in this film, there are sex scenes, filmed to evoke a reaction and progress the story, it's not the point of the story. In addition, these are real actors portraying these characters, their job is not to have sex on film. The way these two idiots put it is what seems like a display of ignorance on their part. It seems they missed half the movie by gazing at members of the audience so who knows how much they understood this film.

  • I thought it was a wonderful film myself. It certainly didn't seem slow to me, and the ending especially was both deeply touching and darkly funny at the same time, in the inimitable Park ChanWook style. As for these two 'reviewers', it's a couple of teenage boys going to see a vampire movie - what do you expect? They were probably expecting another 'Underworld' type gorefest with goth chicks with fangs making snarling noises.

  • exactly

  • You lost me at Korean porn... I don't give a shit if they were playing uno while eating a cup full of shit.. There is porn in it...

  • Its called a plot douchbags. There is such a thing as a horror/drama. Like "let the right one in." Go watch Transformers 2 and fuck your fat friend in the ass. Thirst was a brilliant movie

  • thirst was awful

  • in most korean horror movies, its pretty slow.

but to me, it always has a good plot. like the movie 'uninvited'.

that movie was originally a korean movie. but i think the uninvited was better

bcus the korean version was pretty slow. then again, both movies has a twist which is what i like

    ^______^ "

  • i saw the trailer of this movie and it looked terrible. if a trailer is bad then i know the movie will be awful. not even going to waste my time

  • i went to see Thirst and i thought it last for 3 hours too....there came a point were i was just bored and wanted to walk out of the movie theater.....but it was ok..not a movie i would see again or buy..

  • i just watched the trailor for this movie and it looks horrible

  • It's apparent to me why you guys didn't like the movie. You stupid teenagers with no attention span. I'll bet you can't wait for the next twilight movie.

  • Thats not ur first korean film is it?? Dont tell me you hated it b/c it had subtitles? U want a good One Chingu.later

  • All the people that just blindly agree with this so called review I'm sure have no concept of what a good film is. Go and watch your Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to treat your need for a movie that is nothing but mindless destruction. I'll stick to films that are actually able to create characters and situations that mean something.

I'm interested on what other films EricWithNoK you have seen that are not North American. Maybe Asian cinema is just not for you.

  • korean porn? ummm...

  • that way they would not have to leave anything out

  • but if you hadnt read the book first i think the meadow scene would have been really really confusing, cause one second they seem pissed at each other, the next they are declaring their love for each other... like i know it a movie and they had to cram a lot but shit, they could have had a little more build up to the love like the book did. I personally think they should not have made a movie, but instead i think they should have made a twilight tv series, and every chapter could be an episode.

  • Just thought it should be known....this was posted on my bday... Aug. 6th.lol. i'm out!!

  • lmao a guy wit a bicycle helmet XD

  • korean porn lol .

the only korean good movie there is : the good, the bad, the weird and also Mother.

  • Out of all the foreign horror films I've watched, anything coming out of Asia is usually pretty good. Sure the plotline is somewhat obscure and things are indeed dragged out, but there are some intense moments. I personally think Japanese horror films tend to be a lot more "scary" than Korean ones, but mainly if you're looking for that whole "WTF WAS THAT?!" factor.

  • & to the one talkinq about the twiliqht movie . the only thinq that didnt make the movie like absolutely perfect is b/c the director didnt really do many thinqs from the book. but in new mooon i see already they takinq alot of thinqs from the book & puttinq it into the movie.

  • i never seen the movie ,,,, never even heard of it . but i went to see the trailer ... it looks weird . i was watchinq it like wtf is this ?! soo yeah i quess nobody talked about it b/c it was truly borinq

  • Most Asian horror movies are composed of long drawn out bouts of talking , with short but intense scenes of actual horror . If you want some good Asian horror try " tale of two sisters ", "silk ",or " visible secrets " . But my friends and I are fanatics for Asian stuff so we might be a bit biased about these . But they are the few memorable ones I can think off the top of my head. They're all psycho/ghost horror flicks , so I dunno if thats your thing . But I liked them

  • korean porn. baha. nicely put.

  • the movie was bullshit waste of money

  • The movie is 133 minutes. Yes, it's long compared to the average film but it is very well paced. I guess you just have be familiar with the work of Park Chan-wook and realize that his films are not action blockbusters. He is simply one of the most creative directors in the world.

I would be interested in what a review of Lust, Caution would sound like. It's even longer and contains sex that was more graphic than in this film.

  • koren porn.

    hahahhaa

  • Anyone who dislikes this film but likes Twilight really has bad taste in vampire films...

  • anyone who liked the twilight film has terrible taste in movies, anyone who liked the Twilight books is awesome. Hopefully New Moon movie wont make me wanna claw my own eyes out.

  • I agree.

however, I'm not even going to watch New Moon. I was so disappointed in the first one.

  • oh my god.

    you are my hero.

the twilight movie was good if you were able to keep an open mind. so i loved it. BUT IT SUCKED! ugh ugh ugh. new moon looks WAYYYYYYYY better. i guarantee that it will be good.

  • i really did try to keep and open mind honest, i came into the movie hopping for the best, really excited actually, cause the book was so fucken crazy good, but my dear sweet jesus, it was so awful, like i promise i wasn't nit picking, i was trying not to compare it to the book and just watch it like any other movie, but even then it was bad, it was just so f'ing corney, i found it hard to sit through, i think they were relying a bit to much on the fact that most ppl would have read the book.

  • i agree with this person SO MUCH.

  • how long is it

  • This review was.... really not good!

If you thought this movie was slow, maybe you should stick to watching fast paced, Michael Bay movies.

  • Have you guys ever seen any other Korean or Asian films? Just curious, because really asian cinema is quite different from Hollywood cinema. I think Thirst is amazing, along with Park Chan Wook's other works. I reccomend if you guys havne't watched anything else by him you check out the Vengeance Trilogy. I think they're better than Thirst but come on. It's kinda hard to beat Old Boy huh?

  • I totally agree with you, Park Chan Wook is amazing, I do understand that korean movies can be more slow than hollywood ones, but really Thirst deserves more credit than this.

  • Sounds like you guys didn't watch the movie...it wasn't slow at all.

  • ROFLL.

"IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOVIE!!!" Your friend sounds like a mixture of Seth Rogan, and Ray Romano. I agree with all of your movie reviews except for REPO. - REPO is definately the most amazing film, i have ever seen.

  • your friend is really hott

  • dang u have low standards

  • Imma still check it out.

  • I'm not sure that this reviewer watch the same movie as I did. I thought it was excellent and one of the best movies of the year so far. It was not so much about vampires as it was the relationship and dynamics between Tae-joo and Sang-hyun. This movie was possibly not marketed correctly because it's more of a romance/dark comedy than a horror or drama film. And since when did sex scenes become porn?
