Nah, that's Troll 2. This movie was actually quite good, I thought, no Gremlins but definitely one of the better 1980's "critter" horror/fantasy movies. I'm convinced that its low rating on imdb is the result of a sort of reverse halo effect ("horns effect", perhaps?) from its infamous (and unrelated) sequel.

@trilobright i have 2 things to reduce your argument of it being good. 1 there weakness is the double Decker baloney sandwich and what i like to call the "corno" part of the movie.

It took me years to remember the movie this song came from, but I remembered it from my childhood. I have always loved it.
