This whole secondary market price thing just baffles me!

Doesn't Bandai realise how much money people make scalping on out of production figures and realise that Bandai could make that money instead of the scalpers by keeping these figures whose prices skyrocket on the aftermarket in production a little while longer?

@kohm100 Bandai does reissue certain figures depending on the local demand primarily. As long as they meet a certain minimum quantity of pre-order, they will reissue a particular figure. For figures like Drossel, they might only have the license to do a one-time release. If they wish to reissue it, they might have to pay for another round of licensing, which may not be worth it unless the demand is very high.

I bet they'll probably release another chogokin for the new fireball season, so I'll probably just wait for that.

The $8 one is probably only a mini figure or a PVC figure, unless it is still undergoing bidding. The $119 is likely to be the Chogokin one.

I was wondering.I looked up on Ebay and amazon for it and i saw this giant price range. the highiest was like 119 dollars and the smallest was 8 dollars. i realy wanna buy drossel but i have a smal budget.is it a good idea to buy the 8 dollar one?

@OptimusSmyth I bought this piece at 6500 yen when it was first released. You can only find it at the secondary market now and I think it's not cheap, though I am not certain on the actual price now. You might want to do a search on ebay to have a better idea. =)
