It was the first harvest moon that had your child grow up past the toddler stage and into an adult, everyone ages and you really interact with your child, influence him. The point of the game is influencing the son, rather than making money via the farm. The graphics are okay, but the time it takes to finish the game is annoying.

Girl version and PS2 version are the same, PS2 version is REALLY slow, though.
