I remember this and going on it as a Child! Still love it to this day and i'm 20, the Magic never ends! Does anyone realise that operators can stop the turntable with a foot pedal to moderate boat numbers?
the only thing about this ride is that none of the moving models work anymore!!!! and neither do the squirters!!! but when this ride worked, it was amazing xx
I used to work on this ride as a ride assistant. Had to take all the water out of the boats first thing in the morning when it had rained and count how many people got on the boats. I have to say teh music was rather annoying when you'd listened to it for 2 hours! :)
@charlottelisacoleman I just finished a season there. The FTB's turntable was screwed up for most of the season, so the boats got stuck for ages until we pushed them (which was difficult) or waited for enough boats to come from behind (which left them sitting there for 2-3 minutes). I totally know what you mean about the music! :)
