I think you should have your contests with different age groups or for how long they've been doing make-up. like ages 10-14, 15-20, 20+ or something like that. or first year doing make-up,second year, third and up.

Can't you just use colors you have? That's the whole reason why I mention the type of color I use. It would be uneconomical for me to trash what I already have and buy new stuff for the sole purpose of a tutorial. Besides, I use a blend of super cheap stuff to high end, but I hardly bust out with YSL or Dior. Please use your best judgment and just pick from what you have :)
