dude you need to learn samba!!! you would love it, play this underlying beat while you're playing around on the toms. using the hi-hat and the bass you will have this pattern, "b-hbb-hbb-hbb-hbb" it is kind of a groovy feeling and you can find the beat somewhere on youtube just type in samba lessons or something but you would really love it
