I absolutely loved the ending for North and South. It's my favorite. It's just one of the most romantic scenes ever. *sigh* Especially when you've got Richard Armitage using THAT voice... *melting to the floor*

I absolutly love this vidio. It is one of my favourets.I love period dramas especialy the romantic endings. The only ones I've seen are Pride and Prejudice and Emma but I love the look of the other endings. I sooo wish for a moment in my life like this one day and the song is beautiful!

can tell you that moments like this exist in real life ant they are much better than the movies. But in real life you meet your prince, have a wonderful time, and for the first time in your life you feel alive. but then you return to the reality and get separated because you lifes doesn´t match each others. In this case we live on different continents. maybe you´ve only have known each other for a couple of hours but you feel like the two of you belong together.

Agree. Loads of my friends feel frustrated that they never kiss but I think that's the magic of it...the pure simplistic beauty of it all. Love the way when I watch it I always feel like I desperately want them to kiss but then they don't but yet I still feel so warm and cosy like I'm sinking into the chair with the romance of it all.

love it. although, the BBC version of pride and prejudice is better than the 2005 version (the one with colin firth). If you haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out. You would probably love it. (especially if you liked north and south :)

Agree loved the 1995 version too especially since we've got 6hrs of material to watch allowing lots of character development. The 2006 version is brilliant probably more accessible as in it's easier to find time to watch a 2h movie than a 6h movie.
